The way i felt it took a lot more air to play the Pbone compairing to the brass trombone

I should get one of these for playing in the occasional parade. I didn't realize they were so inexpensive. Wow.

YES! It was a dream during one of the parades in my city. Not best at projecting sound, but made it so simple for a great price.

He’s right, it’s not that great for lower notes, on the other hand a brass student trombone does acceptionally well for its low price

I could totally hear what you were talking about. Once you got to the low “G”, you could tell the tone wouldn’t resonate like a metal bone would. Overall it looks like a fun instrument…maybe good for marching band especially when it is cold outside.

Looks great for people who aren't quite sure of indecisive kids

I’m a tuba player and a music Ed major, honestly probably a good instrument to have to learn and teach beginner band in the future.

I'm seriously thinking about learning to play yet another brass instrument... I'm in my late 30s and find that when I play wind instruments that my asthma doesn't kick up as much. Tbone and french horn are the only two I cant play. (Yet) But I'm used to things that have valves and I'm kinda scared. After watching this, I think I will take the dive. Thank you!

I think most accurately - you can practice on it. You can play it on gigs where sounding like a trombone and blending in with other trombones is not critical. :) You probably would sound fine a mixed horn setting (ie mixed with trumpet and sax players). It will play notes, it will sound sort of like a traditional trombone, and it'll help you build up trombone playing skills. However, tone-wise, it'll be like playing a cornet in a group of trumpet players, or a little more different from a silver trombone player sitting in with a bunch of brass trombones.

Best advice I can give anyone is........keep it under a locked case whenever your drunk friend come over.........glueing the thing back won't give you an even half decent sound :(

How does the slide move, is the slide fast as compared to a normal brass trombone? You said it makes noise when you move but does it also have speed limitations?
@JulesTheHuman4 жыл бұрын
The slide is not as fast as on normal brass, requires a little bit more force than anything I’ve played no matter now lubed I could make it. Pretty big hinderance to start off on, but I got used to it after a while.

Isn't safe to say you get what you pay for?? Is it just human nature to want a $3000.00 horn for $100.00?? Jules, I'm pushing 70....I don't think you're to obnoxious.....Just loose the nose ring ;^))
