PRO Z790-A WIFI (mother board) + Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case. I don't know how it will "fit" or "sit" right in the case. I don't want to force anything. should i get a new case? Even following your wonderful vid I'm having issues with installation.

Gloves to prevent electricity discharge, 1000W for future proofing, if you'll buy more powerful components like a high end graphic card you'll have the juice and you dont need to buy another PSU.

i have the pretty much same build but with a asus 3080ti instead of the 4070ti, i got it used for 550 so worth every single penny. was looking at the 4070tis but theyre 780+ brand new and used are pretty expensive as well.

Hey man great video! I installed this a few days ago and the reason I was looking to watch someone install the MB is because I get an issue where my USB controller resources were exceeded. I noticed for the CPU power cable in the top left of the motherboard, you plugged the cable into cpu power 1 and 2. I only plugged it into port 1 do you think this could be my issue? When originally researching I read that cpu power 2 was just used for extreme overclocking but i did install a 14900k and maybe it needs it or maybe its completelyt unrelated to my usb controller issue.

Similar build. Going with the i5 13600k, question is im pairing it with a dual tower peerless assassin air cooler, Do i install the air cooler before I install it into my case ? or is it easier for cable management then install the cooler later ?

It depends on the case you are using. If you install the cooler first, it will be inconvenient to connect the processor power cables. If you install the cooler last, then there will be difficulties with attaching the fans to the radiator. I usually put the tower last.

@@pclab1755 A little late but an update, installed the cooler before mounting the motherboard. With a fully modular PSU, I connected the 8 pin CPU power cable to the MOBO first, then wired it through the case and connected it to the power supply itself AFTER I mounted the board ;). Thought it was quite clever of me :p.

Is this motherboard enough to handle i7 14700k? Will the more expensive mbs like z790 tomahawk give better performance?

This motherboard is suitable for i7-14700k and i9-14900k. The z790 tomahawk has 2 phases more VRM and more powerful DRmos. If the Tomahawk isn't much more expensive, then buy it.

Unfortunately my cpu lock won't go down and is making this really unnerving creaking sound when I try to press down the latch. I'm avoiding press the latch down until I find a video that can solve my issue. I'm trying to put a 14700k into the motherboard but again, it's just creaking really loudly.

Wait? Isn't a 4070Ti too strong for that Processor? Or is a 7.5 Bottleneck not a big deal? Cause it is the processor being bottlenecked over the GPU which I thought I heard is bad?

Of course not. 13700k will cope with RTX4080 without any problems
