PCs can emulate almost all the consoles. Not perfectly, but good enough. Another thing I've noticed is how good the older games still look. PS1 looks horrific. Any dos game will upscale b/c it's basically using the same platform and it can often look really incredible. There's a wave of upgraded old games. I started with emulation but what's the point? The console will be outdated one day, the cartridge or whatever will not work - the PC game will install and work fine and look good b/c you will eventually have a new PC. It's sort of like buying the same upgraded console over and over and every old game still works from 30+ years ago. Not a bad deal, but ultimately the PC is just a bit harder to use and that makes all the difference to some people.

I am starting to learn that and it's so so good to change just one or two lines of text to change one part of the game design that you disliked. Just because of modding PC is inherently superior. I have no problem with people playing on console, they do as they please, but when one tries to argue that it is the superior choice, that proves that either a) he has no clue of the reality and just plays consoles because it is the only thing he knows or b) he knows deep down that pc are superior so he rejects reality to try to justify the fact he plays on console because he refuses to admit that consoles aren't as great as he thought

@@mattjsherman pc wont eliminate consoles as long as a decent graphics card is at least $200. I can buy a whole console for that price and the computer has ONE part. Not to mention a decent processor cost at least $100. Oh yeah but I want to cool that processor so let's drop another 30-50 dollars just so it doesn't catch on fire. Oh and that brings me to another point, the PSU go ahead and drop $50+ if you dont want your computer fried. Next is storage looking at 50-60 dollars for a one terabyte hard drive that can fit all the games you want. But it has 30+ seconds loading time for almost every game. So ya want speed but also want to fit more than just windows. That will be $90+ for a SSD that can fit half as many games as the hard drive but hey it at least loads fast. Also you need a case of course $40+ for a case. Oh yeah a little over half way there. Ram 8GB of ddr4 cost 50-90 dollars, and last but not least a mother board, do you want a good motherboard that wont bottleneck the rest of the computer 100+ dollars for that. Sp in total a minimum of $600 effectively three times as much as the console and that doesn't even count peripherals like a keyboard, mouse, some kind of speaker system, etc. At least a console comes with a controller.

cody Wooden well when you spend that much, that PC will outperform any console. Thats how much mine costs and it runs Apex Legends at 90+ fps on high settings. But you don’t have to spend that much, you don’t need a graphics card thats worth $200+. You don’t need a graphics card PERIOD. I had a ~$400 built that played Dark souls 3 at 60+ fps on high that didn’t have a graphics card (considering parts cost back in 2018). Also, 8gb ram is NOT worth $50-$90 at least not anymore. You can find ddr4 8gb ram for no more than $50, but thats the high end stuff, most ram costs $45. No 8gb ram costs $90. Take a look at the ryzen 3 2200G. Currently on sale at micro center for $60 and has integrated graphics to play games at low settings at 60fps. Also, get this... it comes with a cooler! LIKE ALMOST EVERY CPU YOU BUY. Stop trying to artificially increase the price of a pc, cause people like me are going to call out your bs Tl;Dr: you’re wrong

@@aqualinks7984 I found a dell optiplex 790 with an i5 2400 cpu and a 500g hard drive with windows 10 pro for 100$ on ebay. I then proceeded to buy a 40$ 500 watt EVGA power supply, and an 80$ RX 570, both of which were on Ebay as well. So far my new pc plays every game I throw at it at well over 60 fps, however I am using a 1600 x 900 resolution monitor, for now. This is a great option for a decent gaming pc.

Funny story a friend challenged me to build a PC with brand new parts that performs better than the PS4 pro or the Xbox 1X. Spent less money than either console and still had extra to get a budget 75hz IPS monitor that was on clearance sale. And had a hard lock 60fps on higher settings than either console. Easiest 2 grand I ever made.

@@dp-2835 most games are niche, Dirty bomb is one such niche game, meaning it has a small dedicated audience. Same for Battleborn, since both are better then Overwatched. you can still promote those two to get more people playing them, since they are still available.

Best gaming setup: buy a ps4/switch (or both if you want to) for the exclusives like bloodborne, Spiderman, infamous, horizon zero dawn, last of us and shadow of the collosus, or mario, Zelda, fire emblem or whatever Nintendo makes, and buy a good pc to play online for free, get gamepass, mods, superior multiplats, a fuck load of indie games and doing your (home) work
