I agree with alot that you've said, but EA can definitely do more to prevent hacking. Even a very simple fix for 0-0 quits would stop the autowin kick-off hacks, which is the main hack I've seen. Include a report player feature. Add some sort of anti-cheat software like Valorant does. But they haven't done any of that for the last few Fifas, they need to do more.

I do agree with that, there is definitely more they can do. I do still think that inevitably cheats / exploits will exist, it's just a matter of degree. You're right, I think the only thing we can report a player for it 'an offensive name', right? Lol.

about 1 in every 3 of my matchups in champs were a gold common team and they just pause and leave. its worse than its ever been.

Fascinating. I don't experience that very often (at least not 1 in 3), but yeah it's a clear sign of the hackers. I wonder, which continent do you live in? I wonder if the frequency is based on region (hackers being more prevalent in one region over another), or just purely random matchmaking

I think the biggest problem is how the top tier card (mbappe etc) are unobtainable. They have to increase the pack weight on those cards on pc or something.

I do agree that rarity is a problem on PC, but I'll be honest, it's far from the biggest problem in the game for me I think when a market is smaller, it's much easier or more incentivized to corner that market. So it's a natural result of the relatively small PC market. It's inevitable. So you're right, a simple solution for EA would be to slightly increase the supply of such cards. Not sure if people would agree it's the best solution, but it would help alleviate this issue.

PC is unplayable because of hacking Console is unplayable because of input delay It would be much easier for EA to fix the input delay, but i Guess they won't be competent enough or even care enough to fix any big issues like this.

I purchased Fifa 23 on PC and it was great for a little while until it wasn't. Botters started using hacked teams and I would constantly face them on WL. They were AI teams playing at ultimate mode, no big deal because I could beat them. One day the hack evolved and players became invisible. It felt like everyone quit pc after that because 4 out of 5 players on WL were invisible, people on consoles all turned off crossplay afterwards and felt like there was no one left to play on pc. I ended up putting the game to rest around december even though I was enjoying the gameplay unlike now. Since then I've been buying the game for console but this year the joke is on me because the game is only playable on pc, console gameplay is sh*tshow.

I feel you, mate. That's wild. The game's a mess, but you're 100% right, people didn't realize at the time that FIFA 23 was actually relatively good. I actually distinctly recalling in the summer, how good the end-game was in FIFA 23. I remember the cards & their skill moves feeling extremely responsive. I remember how consistent & realistic finishing was. The game fell off a cliff after that end of FIFA 23 lol. We were all hoping the separation from FIFA would make the game better, but literally it has gotten worse than that, 100% lol.

Im happy that I can play on PC. Playing on console with delay wouldnt even be an option. And after UT gets boring i can play Career Mode with mods.

They basically automatically disconnect you from the game instantly, they get a win even though it's 0-0, if you use a loan it counts the loan. There are other hacks as well, but those seem to be much less common. This sort of thing is referred to usually as a 'DC Hack' (Disconnect Hack)

@@gnomstead It happens automatically, at the very beginning of the match. It's not really possible to counter, except for some speculation about: 1. Pausing immediately, 2. 'Tabbing Out' of the FC 25 screen (or FC 24 / FIFA 23 / etc in past years) 3. Waiting 20-30 seconds (let the pause timer run out, don't touch anything) That supposedly can help people counter hackers. But it doesn't seem to be a sure-fire thing. Also often it's hard to realize someone's hacking until you get DC'ed. So it's not practical to 'counter' it because you'd spend every single game paused & tabbed-out to prevent the minority of times there is a DC hacker. You don't actually lose the game, but you'd lose a loan game if you're using a loan player Hope that helps, mate
