Its just unbelievable how good these games are. Its like Die Hard mixed with Splinter Cell and with the best music and dialogue. I will never tire of MGS. I havent played a single game yet but i'm catching up by watching this longplay then buying the MGS HD Collection and MGS4. I cannot wait till November 8th

@jet4212006 Added to the main game are an alternate sneaking suit outfit for Meryl to complement Snake's tuxedo and the red-colored Ninja, a "Very Easy" difficulty setting where the player starts their mission with an MP5 sub-machine gun with infinite ammo, new Codec frequencies with staff commentary and hidden music, a first-person view mode, an option for alternate patrol routes for enemies, and a downloadable PocketStation minigame. It also came with "Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions."

Snake and Liquid both have brown hair. Liquid's was bleached to blonde while in the Middle Eastern sun. Snake's just appears blonde because of the lighting in the scene. EVA only carried the fertilized egg, she did not provide it. The egg was from a Japanese woman. This was explained by EVA in Metal Gear Solid 4.

Hey Cubex55 thanks for posting this wonderful video was a great watch and it inspired me to dig up my old PC copy of Metal Gear Solid, I was wondering how you got the fmv cinemas to work? For me it is just a colored box displayed over where they should be although the audio works fine. Any advice you can offer or perhaps your PC's specs and OS would be extremely helpful. Im pretty sure the PS3 version will run at a 320x240 resolution like the original PS1 version rather then the 1024x768 resolution the PC version can run at.

@spyroglitcher you can download legally the game if you've already bought it. mondemul dot net, you'll find there all emulators and ps1 roms to play the game. i recommend pSX, it's the easiest to use. Oh and the site is in french, but you should be able to understant the links. Good luck !
