I'm glad this game came out on PC. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to try it in VR. For the longplay I go through the original levels then go to area X which is a new mode that lets you control your movement. -

@@melaniel.4269 I liked the game nothing is wrong but come on. A flying silver surfer shooting holograms, weird things going on. Maybe you are familiar with weird japanese games but im not. Maybe this is the reason it looks so strange to me.

The game is as difficult as skilled you are. The more enemies you shoot down the harder the boss will be, to be more precise.

I like this game since the day I played it on my PSVR headset. The disc I used to play the game is scratched now, but the ps4 can't even read it's hard drive anymore. I have a question though, why does this game look like a PS2 game but with 16:9 ratio?

Rez is a game from the Dreamcast/PS2, I think the Rez part of Rez Infinite is just the port on XBLA called Rez HD

The game doesn't tell you this, but the plot is given in the manual. There's this futuristic supercomputer network called the K-Project that's controlled by an artificial intelligence called Eden. Eden has become overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge gathered on the network, and then a virus infects her, causing her to doubt her existence and enter a shutdown sequence. You play a nameless hacker who breaks into this network, area by area, to shoot down the viruses and reboot everything. The best ending is attained by doing a no-damage run of Area 5 during the boss rush sequence at the end.
