Hi………..I don’t have a vinyl cutter and would like a stencil if possible. I build custom gaming PC’s and would like “Tech Luvn” (minus the quotes) etched into my glass panels. Possible?

Unfortunately I’m out of the vinyl cutting business at the moment. You can probably find a ton of people on Etsy that can cut a template for you. You just need to specify that it’s a template and not a sticker so they reverse cut it for you.

Is the the vinyl you used a special types I noticed is different from the grid vinyl

YOu can use any vinyl you want. These are mainly scraps from other projects. Anything will work, any color, clear, opaque, whatever you have

1. tempered glass does not have a temperature threshold as you say, in order to use etching cream to risk breakage you have to go through as least 25% of the glasses integrity, which you cannot do with armour etch. FYI.

yeah, only thing id say is that 5 minutes isnt enough if youre etch has a lot of area. tempered glass cant shatter from using the etching cream, ive done anywhere up to 30 minutes with it and it works better that way.

also its usually a good idea to put the chemical into a baking soda solution to remove the acidic properties before putting it down your drain

@@wrendan great tips. Thank you for letting me know. Ive upped my time to 10 minutes. I find any longer and my edges get fuzzy. Probably due to cheap vinyl.

As long as it cuts the dimensions you want they're all pretty similar. Some cut 12" wide, others 8, just make sure it cuts the right size for you.

You could probably find someone on Etsy that sells decals and just tell them you need it reversed for a stencil. I’m sure they would accommodate you. I love the look of it.

Hey! I’m sorry but I’m out of the vinyl game for the time being. I know a few people have found decal places on Etsy that will cut a template for you. Just tell them you want a template instead of a decal. They should know exactly what you need.

What to do if you dont have a machine for cutting vinyl? just do it by hand?

You can cut it by hand with an exacto blade if you’re handy. You might also find someone on Etsy that would cut a stencil for you. Just tell them you want a stencil and not a decal.

ChowlbPlays I wanted to have bad bunny’s eye symbol, but I’m not sure how it would come out on the glass as the original image has a lot of color that I’m not sure that etching would do justice.
