I was never interested in learning movement other than super glide and super jump, but since I started doing them in game a few times it made enemies miss their shots and I just roll them when they reload.

Punch padding is easily one of the strongest tools in octanes kit, it allows you to make some really crazy plays on people that aren’t ready for it

window magnetism also count as floor contact so you can "mantle" (super) jump out of that too, sadly window mag only works on the small streamer building

Also for mantle jumps,if you hold interact down while performing it then it makes it easier since you don’t have to hit interact again

@2:50 would like to mention, as i do this often, you can put your gun away while moving forward/starting to move from a crouch to get that 120ms window going and you can still hit the slide and pull your gun back out while still descending into the slide and have it out about .5 sec sooner than hitting the slide before pulling out the weapon again.

I've only got a few superglides but wall bouncing and strafing are half of how my friends know it's me playing, can't wait to learn the fatigue jumps though I've never actually tried to learn it, never knew you had to let go of the movement stick

I play on PS5, and I have to say, learning to super glide is not an easy thing. It takes time (a lot of it) but when you do get the hang of it like I have, it gets easier and you get more consistent with it 🙂

@@Osky1111 No, I have tried to learn it but I’m finding it more difficult than the super glide 😅 It’s alright though coz I have been able to focus on collecting badges and now I have a nice sweaty banner 🙂 Sometimes is just better to improve on things like gun skill rather than awesome movement tech 👍🏻👍🏻🙂🙂

Maybe it's because I grew up on 2D games, but supergliding is bar-none the easiest advanced movement mechanic for me. Timing comes pretty natural.

I did not thought that wall bounces were so hard to some people. I do them all the time and im on Controller after all. Wall bouncing is probably the easiest movement tec and really helpfull. At the moment im trying to get better at my Superglides and the timing. After that is the advanced zip movement on my list. So this video actually helped me quite a bit, even tho i can most of these tecs. But thanks great vid and good explained. Ps: Sorry for my bad english gramma im not a native english speaker.. lol😂

when super gliding I had to reassign my slide button to the left stick making it super easy to hit both interactions. With a holstered weapon you hit the slide and jump button half a 1 frame with a your weapon out its 1 frame. I can hit them back to back keeping this in mind

There aren't a lot of people who have clips of these things on controller. There are some movement players on controller, but they haven't really made many tutorials about it except for District.

@@ToastedTater420 These techniques are pretty much exactly the same on the controller since it's usually just pressing jump or interact at the right time. All the controller guys just watched MnK players do it and just tried it on controller till it felt natural.

Thats the problem. Some of these techniques need high sensibility which make You sacrifice a lot of accuracy for losing the combo of relatively slow sensibility compared to mnk with aim assist. Obviously there Will be players that counter that but it's not worth it for most so they Will stick to movement techniques that don't require crazy settings

biggest bummer is he didnt mention airstrafing once u can airstrafe in many different angle to a wall and out of the walljump and by mantle climbing the wall into the same direction u came from (if it was a parallel or almost paralel walljump )u can jump and airstrafe back into the direction u came from 2 more additions slidejump body swaps (need crouch on stick) just slide at box and b4 opening jump keep slide pressed so u can slide out of the deathbox area and keep momentum 2. wierd fatique jumps to skip climbing walls by moving the stick wierdly forward after jumping of tof wall u can prevent the backwards pushaway from the wall and push yourself straight up after that u can airstrafe onto the wall

fun tip used this on xbox ive played on every platform both imputs idk if it works on other platforms tho switch your jump and crouch to buttons on your controller EX : R3 L3, that let you jump/crouch in death boxes in the actually console so that it basically means R3 = A so that in game you press A and itll do R3 but its still the A button so that itll let you jump/crouch while in a death box its really bad for normal use of the console but if youre like me and have a ton of money for things that do everything but only use them for one thing then go ahead

Everybody on roller I am telling ya use 4-3 linear response curve with small dead zone. Coming from standard it takes some adjusting but your skill ceiling increases so much

4 year console player here, i would recommend picking up a power A controller with paddles, they are really cheep and mine has lasted a good 2 years. it only has 2 paddles but makes a lot of this stuff 100x easier

If you don't have paddles, here's my controller config: L1-----crouch L2-----ADS L3-----tactical R1-----interact/reload R2-----shoot R3-----jump Triangle---switch weapons Circle-------sprint Square-----ping X--------------melee I'm still working on figuring out how to move and loot at the same time, but I've done it on accident a few times.

So now that we cleared that controller has almost exactly the same amount of movement as a MnK player... Let's talk about re-evaluate the aim assistant for controller even closer to the value of Aim Assistant of a MnK player (only for PC lobby's, so to say). I'm bringing this up to equalise both inputs even more and increase the competitive integrity of Apex Legends.

A lot of these techniques need crazy ass settings that aren't worthy to change. sacrifice the combo of medium-high sensibility+aim assist, just to use a very situational technique like elite jump or learn a complete New control settings just to make one technique.

They are hard to learn true? Just like on m&k, you need to put your ass in the chair for many hours to learn them and much more hours to implement that movements efficiently in fight. We on pc need to remap keybinds just like you need to use different control settings to perform some techniques, and while you don't want do that, people are saying that movement on m&k are so much better than on controller and you also don't wanna trade aim assist for some movement. I guess we are all right, AA is op and need to be nerfed, even with the possibility for advanced movement technique controller player still want aim assist intead of movement.

You can also move forward looting on regular controller settings as long as you have auto sprint on and you buffer step. Idk what it’s actually called but it isn’t as consistent

Well now that you've made a video about controller movements which shuts down all the rollers saying they can't do movement techniques like KBM...can you do one where you teach KBM people how to have aim assist like controllers? It'd only be fair.

When they say that, they mostly mean tap strafing or deathbox movement. To begin with alot of these movement techs require you to sacrifice your low sense for a higher one which would result in uncontrollable/barely controllable aim for the most part.

Also having to sacrafice low sense for a higher one sounds like you just need to get better at controlling on higher sense. KBM has the same issue. My sense isn't as high as someone like Timmy because I can't control it, as such I can't do 180 deg turns or flick as fast as he can. It's a player diff, not an input diff.

well, i know it must be possible because i had in S12 Stormpoint some lightning moments. I used these jumpguns and were fully able to have air movement like on jumppads on pc. i know i tried something to jump in the side of the canon then tried to land on the edge of it but instead i went hard left and and landed on the prowlers den. having a nice air strafe. then also, i had key moments where i had the same on a jumppad and i was like timing a damn something to do it. itsp possible

Sooo trying the mantle jumping today in the firing range and got closer than ever. Got the whole thing down but when I got for the super jumper I just don’t get good height. Even when I try just super jumping on a Pathy zip. I’m not sure how many different timings I can try. I have a custom controller as well. Any advice?

so this is for mnk PC players and roller PC players ... as mnk players use their 100% brain to aim with whole arm instead roller players 40% less brain than mnk player that aim using a thumb.. it mean roller players are doctrined to use less than 40% and they don't realize that 40% of their brain are not think to learn movement on roller or they are not searching if there is a movement guide for roller, well maybe because they are typical casual player(lazy).. most of them keep complaining the advantages of mnk instead searching and learning about how to do movement with controller. but mnk players are not using 100% of their brain everytime every match. come on!! mnk player player should train their brain,eyes, and arm instead roller players don't. but if roller players did, they are will be like "twitch extesyy" .. basically its about the person who play the game , if you are intelligent high IQ you will be better on both sides, mnk and roller but most of us haven't

Hitting a superglide on switch is suuuuuper easy. You can hit them basically every time and it's the only good part about playing on switch. Thank god apex let me have at least this to work with.

Well, on 30 fps i hit 8/9 superglide out of 10 attemps while at 240fps is the other way. The lower fps, the easier the superglide, is how it works.

Ayex plays the most bot like lobbies. Just straight one clips. Even faide takes a couple different repositions in each fight in order to stay alive. Ayex just runs in and shoots people who do about 24 dmg max to him 😬
