Its not that they're necessarily bad it highly depends what you're changing, which to my knowledge most basic Fortnite KZbinrs have no idea how the windows OS works, I have experience with benchmarking and knowing alot of stuff that does work so I have a grasp of stuff that is in fact good, like some foods could appear healthy but doing more research, might not be with the more proper knowledge like something that is quote, *Organic* or made of natural ingredients

@@benjifys everything you said in this video is wrong, filter keys enables you to spam your keys more often creating double inputs, clearly you didn't use the correct setttings

well, i agree with you, except for the network tweaks. There are some tweaks than can significantly improve your latency, for example disabling nagle's algorithm

tested most of these "tweaks" on my secondary rtx laptop and it felt decent for the first 2 days then everything felt normal after. My ping remained the exact same so I highly believe that majority of 'tweaks' are placebo. Only thing that improve performance were gpu overclock and debloating (highly risky and only felt a slight difference even though I had ALOT of applications and space hungry files that I never cleared over the years)

and i say debloating was risky because I completely wiped everything with the Cris Titus tool since I have a pc and dont use the laptop anymore

This is why I switched to linux this whole chasing after the "perfect windows install" honestly to me wastes my time. I just wanna game without stutters etc. I don't have time to sit here and tweak 59 billion parameters to have a stutter free experience...most tweaks I've done have been a waste of time and make some games a stuttery hitch fest. Glad I got away from windows and chasing tweaking. I've done videos myself in the past but now I see it as a time waster.

nah with my filter keys settings in my experience its not placebo and it actually works if u do the most popular 90 125 or sum its placebo but i made up my own (i dont use filter keys anymore cuz i dont got a need for it)

@@cynthiakhausi8659 there’s nothing wrong with tweaking ! this video mainly talks about bad tweaks, and tweaks to avoid - i am a tweaker myself !! but generally speaking, you want to be somewhat conservative with your optimizations. make a restore point before you tweak and test fps !! short answer: that’s good

@@AndreaDeda-f5p anything to do with your internet. some network tweaks are good, but most are bad. you just have to revert it back to the default value yourself because i don’t know which tweak you used.

Islc is useless tbh lol tbh if u wnat good frames while not too tweaked get Chris Titus game mode off or no depends on ur gpu Nvidia profile inspector network is useless also I think ur tweaks suck lol I have a gtx 1650 with a i5-12400f in 1 of my rigs and it gets stable 700 fps in creative but I am using custom os custom tweaks that I understand but I do somewhat agree with u most tweaks will mess up ur system bc ur gpu or cpu probably is on life support 😂
