love this track! if you made the bassline notes just a liiiitle longer and just a dB or 2dB louder, and swapped the eurotrance breakdown for something else (long snare drum roll followed by crash) this could easily be a modern dance floor hit and very spinnable

Been playing UT 99 GOTY in my days (maby someone here still remembers the MATRIXCLAN from back then) that was the clan i was part of. we played day and night til our hands fell off. playing against players like SANDMAN en TRAXDOT back then in the numbers 10 best players of ut. Those were the days were true skill stil was needed. Loved the tracks Razorback and superfist ..... still do. The memory alone brings tears in my eye. ¡HI THERE! I've noticed that you actually read our comments! I want to say you thank you for your time and all the effort you put in your work, it's very appreciated. Since you request feedback, I'll give to you my more objective opinion in regard of your track: First of all I'd like to let you know that your work is outstanding!!! IMHO, this is the best remix of "Skyward Fire" over all Internet! You've got talent and an unique style c: Second; I want to congratulate you for being able of keeping the intense, yet pacific sense of this particular song, it's been also an all-life fav for me and I believe your kept the context perfectly! The track is powerful and harmonious, it sounds pretty thorough! Now, I'd like to recommend you some personal suggestions: - At 0:30 you could use a slightly more dragged (longer) bass to emphasize it, like if it were a giant's pace (If you listen Michiel's original mix pretty loud, you'll notice that the bass is kind of dragged, especially if you stare at the woffer xv). - 1:25 Is absoultely gorgeous! - At 1:48 I believe it's not a good idea to brake the theme so abruptly, specially for your mp3 version; instead, I'd suggest doing a gentle fade (as you did 4 seconds later in 1:52 fade-out), the muting idea sounds awesome but since some of us are just-listeners the change is unexpected. Some of us will listen to your tracks all day long! (really...!) and these unexpected changes distract us (at work, e.g.). - Personally I would keep the song's style used from 6:13 until the end like 'turning the track off', after that there's a 'bouncing sound' that makes the track going backwards (as if it were going to continue). Sound I refer is the one used 6:24 onwards. For now, that's the best feedback I can give to you. Keep up the good work! THANK YOU! And regards!!!

Holy Moses! Thank You so much for Your analysis and suggestions! There will be .mp3 release soon I'll try to take into account your notes. As for 1:48, don't worry at all, there won't any muting and filtering in .mp3 release, it's not the part of the track at all. It's just cinematic trick for better synchronisation audio and video, the "get under water" effect. You know, just as in video clips the stop music during the story or someone hear it behind the wall and so on. There will no such unexpected things in proper .mp3 and .wav ;)

Well, there were a couple of moments of doubts, rage and even a bit of despair during composing this track, and after it was done there were some problems making video (it was the first experience of making in 1440p). So right after the upload at the middle of the night I felt nothing but exhausting =D But the next morning I saw Your comments and I felt You love and support to my works and I've got it clearly I've done it right )) So I thank every one of You for paying attention to my works and I really happy to feel You like what I do ^__^
