Its a common issue. All you can do is keep trying. It's a trial and error kind of situation.

I believe they said that they an Xbox360 controller emulator of some kind to get this to work with the Switch drum.

I recently bought switch hori drum and I modded it with 8mm inner wood insert and 1mm silicon rubber pad. I noticed that sometimes when I hit my don, it registered two hits instead of one (but not both side at the same time). Is my unit faulty?

Don't know if you got an answer to this, but it sounds like maybe the drum is overtriggering. Is it the don notes that are double triggering, or is it the ka notes?

@@catonion1201 it's possible the wood you used is a bit too thick for one reason or another. I don't know if you have a means to shave a very thin layer off the wood, but you could try that. Alternatively, the cork mod may work better for you. It's the same concept, but just cork. In the meantime, maybe you can experiment with what causes the double hits (e.g. harder hits vs softer hits, or if there's a specific region of the drum that causes the issue). When I used the hori with a cork mod, I can say I didn't run into this issue. Good luck!
