His ankle is fractured and if plaster can heal it then it will take 6 weeks before it is removed. After that he will go for rehab till fully fit before starting to play. This process can take 3/4 months. If surgery is required then it will take at least 6 months depending on the nature of fracture and surgery. Let's hope he has not any complications. The case of Ihsanullah is the recent example of PCB mismanagement which deprived Pakistan of a genuine fast bowler. However according to the latest reports Saim is being sent to London for proper treatment.
