6:27 "A 74LVC1G38 gate is used as the transmitter and receiver." Looks like LVC1G34 is the correct number. The '38 is 2-input NAND, but important for this video, would not show the same point at all because it has open-drain output.

Why does the trace length isn't a factor for the PCB trace impedance? Isn't it that the addition of inductance will affect the overall transmission line impedance? And thanks for the great video!

Characteristic impedance is basically the ratio of inductance to capacitance. Capacitance also increases with the trace length, and so the trace length is canceled out in the characteristic impedance.

What the heck is going on at 9:30 ? The point is correct -- put the terminating resistor at the transmitter end. The diagram shows the 50 ohm resistor in correct and incorrect locations. But the scope traces and their captions show 20 ohm resistors, which very much waters down the argument and doesn't match the diagram. Not much point showing the "correct side" with the incorrect resistor that doesn't perform the function one wants even if in the would-be correct location.
