Discovery Cove is amazing!!!! I celebrated my twins birthday almost 2 years ago so I got a VIP Cabana and was near the dolphin cove so they were right behind us and our tour guide Jason was amazing!!! It’s so private and you have your own locker/fridge and a table reserved for every meal. It will be hard to go back without that again 💙

I love this park! is my favorite of all. I love its diversity in the employees, unlike Disney, and love that they have things for every member of the family, the roller coaster for the thrill seekers and sesame street for the littler ones, I also love what they do for the animals and how much they care for them.

4:28 I agree. Don’t just leave your food. Even if you can leave your tray. We always clean up after ourselves. Even on DCL we use to clean up after ourselves n the staff would make us put it back down bc we’re on vacation. But we still always clean up after we eat. Be considerate n do the same

As soon as SeaWorld stopped allowing you to take drinks and snacks from home into the park, I got very discouraged from coming. I have a pass but haven’t been in a year. I didn’t have the best time when I went last, but with all of that being said I still love SeaWorld. I hope they can figure it out.

I’m a pass holder and I’ve always brought food in and I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem with them. I’ve brought cookies and sandwiches, and they even let me go after searching my bag.

Did you guys get to see any shows? We haven't been in years and years. There weren't any rides to speak of back then. The shows were the main thing and my daughters each got a pearl from the pearl diving women. They loved the Shamu show and were excited to see the newly born baby orca. Theme park food is generally over priced and made for the masses. No flavor and stale is the usual. Its true at Disney , Universal and Seaworld. We usually stick to what is hard to wreck. Chicken and burgers. You were brave to try all the booth food. It seems in all the vlogs I've watched (cruising mainly) staffing has become the go to excuse for bad food, poor maintenance and overall bad customer service. There are still thousands looking for work so it seems paying better wages providing better training and enticing people with good benefits and perks would increase staff and ensure staff loyalty which would then provide the customers of cruises and resorts and theme parks with a better experience and then the high prices won't be so painful. Getting what you pay for makes for returning guests.

The passholder discount also varies by what pass you have AND how long you've had it,for example I've had the Platinum for over 20 years and my payment is basically locked in for life The same for the discount,Ibasically get 50% off merchandise and 20% off food

Interesting take on the park. We’ve only been there once since it stopped being an Anheiser-Busch theme park and were disappointed. It seems that when the money goes out of these projects, they suffer. My first visit to the park was back in 1975. I don’t remember much from that visit other than it wasn’t like Disney World. Bring short staffed seems to be a recurring issue at all the area parks. It could be hiring practices, I think it could also have to do with pay and treatment if the employees. Orlando is a beautiful city with some of the friendliest people I’ve met, I should know…I used to live there. The problems that have been at the forefront recently are partially created by the government. There is too much being placed solely on the theme parks, but I think that, inadvertently, a hostile environment has been created. It seems like it’s the current government vs. the theme park industry. Not a good look to potential visitors.

Seaworld is horrible. Advertising a price at $12.99 then adding a hidden 5% markup fee just shows you how they feel about their customers. Notice there is no mention of the extra 5% on the food festival signs that I can see. It shouldn't surprise us though if you think about how they feel about their animals. I haven't ever been to Seaworld and not ended up at guest relations,. And there they will tell you anything true or not to get rid of you. But if you do get the VIP tour, then they will treat you like a King. So you are treated like crap, then join the tour and its 180 degree difference. It's the management and the cash grab mentality. Your description about the logistics and order is spot on. I would have skipped Icebreaker too. For a new coaster, huge disappointment. The mime before the dolphin show and Mako are the best part of Seaworld. Manta ops is soooo slow which is why the line is generally long. Can't wait for my Platinum pass to expire next week. Love the video PCDev. Sorry you had to go to Seaworld to do the video, but I guess there are parts about any job to hate.

When you eat a meal at home do you just leave the food on the table? I blame a lot of that look on the people who do it. It's trifling behavior. However maybe that tom guy from wdw news should visit seaworld. He had the nerve to complain about disney when they clean every area every 45 minutes. Empty every trash can as soon as it is full using censors in the cans that go to computers the custodial staff carry on them.

I love the up close whale tour, up close beluga tour because you get to touch them and in the summer months that one your nice and cool lol also Dine with the Orcas is a great experience! I am thinking of doing the penguins in July! 💙

I’ve been there a few times for the Seven Seas Festival and I agree it’s a hit and miss sometimes and they are understaffed but it is my favorite park especially for the coasters and shows! My family has always loved Sea World. We make a day trip every time we are in the Orlando area. Sea World needs to up the pay scale to attract good workers. The $14 an hour isn't cutting it. You got to spend money to make money. Just like Universal is proving.

Thanks for sharing this. A big challenge SeaWorld faces is how park attendance fluctuates so much. Holidays and weekends the place can be busier than Disney or Universal, but go off-season or weekday morning and it feels empty, making consistent staffing/resourcing a huge challenge. Disney and Universal on the other hand are consistently fairly busy. SeaWorld corporate just released financials, and staffing was listed as one of their biggest challenges. This is something that businesses of all sizes across America face, even Disney has struggled to fill a lot of roles. I went to Disney a few weeks ago and honestly many times the bathrooms looked like how they smelled. Still I have to agree that SeaWorld needs to up its game on operations and rides particularly. The Sesame Street area is great for small kids, the best of its kind in Orlando, but it seems rare that all the rides are operational. Every time I've asked, I've been told that it's because of staff shortages. Similarly the kid care facilities around there are great but it's hit or miss about how clean they are. Let's hope that once the roller coaster building is done and the economy cools a bit that they can staff appropriately.

I am surprised to hear that Sea World has dropped the ball with their leadership, cleanliness and staffing. Not to mention the less than par food samples yall tried. My daughter is a travel agent and we thought about coming to Sea World this year. It has been many many years since we were there last. Matter of fact, Kraken was the only coaster at the time. You think Sea World is understaffed… Go to Carowinds which on the border of South/North Carolina, I just went there a week ago and even more understaffed then Sea World is with a lot of their attractions/places to eat not even opening back up until spring/summer

No offense to SeaWorld by any means, but the management has definitely been underwhelming. Recently I went and marathoned Mako and after nearly 10 rides, they almost kicked me out because I rode too many times, which I thought was pretty ridiculous. It kind of had me scared because I thought I would be in further trouble for no particular reason, but thankfully everything was fine in the end, but I was just put in a very awkward situation.

I don’t know why too think they should cater to pass holders. Let’s take Disney for example. The most expensive pass holder ticket is 1,300 for the year. 7-day park hopper cost 600 at a discount retailer. So comparatively you have been way more than 14 days in a year plus you make money on it with KZbin plus the discounts in store and dinning and free parking at the parks for the year. You are way positive on your investment

We were there yesterday 2/26/23 and it was an extremely unpleasant experience. the customer service was TERRIBLE and the food booths we tried were not very good either. also they were either out of stock of some items or others were unedible. the crowd level yesterday was insane because of the Ludacris concert and we had to park in a wooded field where Seaworld stacks their wood pallets.

I feel like Sea World and Busch Gardens Tampa are just not at the same level as Universal/Disney. Though they both have some excellent rides, their theming and basic park management always feel a little lower than what I'm used to from the top shelf guys.
