The 4 Link Pro Elite has the option to ADD bluetooth and DSP (digital sound processing) which means you can answer and talk on your phone thru the headset/intercom. That being said, the TRAX delivers the music in stereo.

CAN YOU PLAY MUSIC OUT OF SPEAKERS OF SIDE BY SIDE FROM THE KENWOOD OR WOULD I HAVE TO BUY A SEPARATE RADIO TO PUT SOUND OUT OF MY SPEAKERS

You can still play music out the speakers yes. You are able to choose a "Speaker Audio Output".

Is it really much better than rugged? Trying to decide between the 2. I’m looking at the STX model from rugged with the Alpha bass headsets.
