I’m a PCA on an acute rehab unit and I absolutely love it. I start nursing school in the fall! Such a great way to get your foot in the door. We pretty much do the same thing besides I see a lot of older patients so I assist with bathroom needs a lot. My floor doesn’t see tele patients but I float on other floors that do!

My grandma has a permanent ostomy bag her cancer was successfully removed but she has to live with the bag on her stomach I’m very thankful for my grandma to still be here and she is gaining her strength and weight back! God is good all the time. It was nice hearing you know bout things like that😊

I was just offered a Position at a hospital. Actually two positions there. 1.) medsurg unit 2. The other is Neuro /Peds/ Ortho. I don’t know which one to take. I have never worked in a hospital before. What do you suggest?

@@cherese1000 Hmm those are both good options! If they talked about patient ratio in the interview, I would personally go for the one with the lowest patient ratio per CNA. Medsurg is pretty tough when understaffed, but I've never worked neuro/peds/ortho. it sounds really interesting though. Which one feels like what you're more passionate about?

Hellofresh is absolutely Amazing. I just started as a paramedic and work 12 hours and my boyfriend and I get 3 meals a week to make. He is so bad at cooking and he’s been making the meals lately and he’s so good at them. I 100% recommended. It can be a little expensive sometimes but the portion control & different selections are amazing

How can you function on 3 hours of sleep for work? I struggle greatly I gotta get my 8 hours in to function for my 12s lol I love how you went into details! I am also a PCNA on med surg too and get those kind of patients as well. Except I can have up to 13 patients per pod. One CNA and 3 nurses each for it. It’s rough being the only CNA. Our tele patients are down in IMCU/ICU. I get to float there at times and I love it down there. Love your vids btw! You are an inspiration 💕💕

I was struggling! I love my sleep! And that’s amazing!! On my pod there is 12 patients with 1 aid and then there are 3 nurses so each nurse has 4 patients! You’re so sweet💗💗💗
