Some pantry items get shipped like seasonings, oatmeal, baking goods etc as long as it’s not a liquid or perishable they’ll pack it and ship it

How did your kids do with the drive? I’m debating if I want to fly with my daughter that will be about two at the time we move or if I just want to fly with her.

They did really well but we did stop A LOT! and it was really tiring once we got to the new place! We drove for about 6-7 hours a day then stopped for the evening/night at a hotel! I probably won’t do that again tho for our next PCs if it’s going back to the east coast! It just took us a lot longer because my daughter was only a few months at the time and we stopped a lot for both kids and it made the trip longer! So I probably will fly next time and have our cars driven by family. I would map out a plan and know where you’re going to stop ahead of time for sure!

Did the army pay to have any of your POV’s moved? How do you do a cross country move with 2 vehicles

I drove my car and my husband drove his, the army won’t ship your vehicles cross country unless there’s a medical reason from what I was told! We did get paid for moving some of our things ourselves, they also paid for our food / gas / hotel stays .. etc!
