You may be on the trail by yourself at the moment but there are many cheering you on and following your journey via KZbin. Take care of yourself and keep posting videos!

Vicious little chewers those mice/chipmunks and small crawly creatures! Chewed up my tent and gear bag in Mt. Rainer area. Looking good, looking forward to more hiking videos! Thank you for taking the time to show us your adventures!

Great video, really captures the majesty of the trail. I normally don’t care for music in PCT videos but somehow your choice in music magnifies the experience - really draws you in. Magical! Speaking of magical, this video has you in Tuolumne Meadows while the comments in the previous video said you were in Chester. Yet just last week I was talking with you while you setup camp in Tamarack Lakes out of Sierra City. Some sort of time warp I suppose. I enjoyed our chat, it was a treat to randomly meet a hiker whose videos I had been watching. At any rate you’ve got to finish up in September. Looks like you’ve got this one. Best of luck!

Great shot of the Devil's Postpile. My wife lost her sunglasses of that bridge a million years ago in another life. Great videos all around. Hope you got a ride into Lee Vining, no doubt you did. Hope you fell better.

As usual, great video and I hope you get some calories in to keep hiking! And thanks for the tip on cooking away from your tent, I made a mental note for my PCT hike next year (if everything works out, that is!). Looking forward to your next update!

That really sucks about the pole. Last year there were reports of a mother bear and cub around the area you were camped, so good idea cooking away from camp. Donahue is the last pass above 10,000 feet on the PCT. That's a good view of Shadow Lake Outlet (the falls) that you had. I really enjoyed the High Trail a lot more than the River Trail through that area. Keep on hiking and add oil to anything that you can stomach it, calories, calories, calories.

The Mammoth Lake area is spectacular. Amazing lakes, good fishing, and great trails. There are bears up there as well as Yosemite. More at Yosemite, so be careful and hide that food and away from your sleep. Wildlife is abundant at Yosemite. Also, be careful of fires at Yosemite. This is the time of year for wildfires. Be careful, safe, and have a great hike. You are doing great. We are rooting for you.

Hey Owen, I read about your journey in The Wall Street Journal. What an incredible feat you have undertaken. To see such beauty must be a godsend to you every evening as you reflect. Your physical & inner strength is truly inspiring to people like me who could not undertake such an adventure. I wish you all the best as you complete your journey.

Konnichiwa and greetings from Japan! (No joke; I really am in Japan.) Have watched all of your videos from Campo through to Tuolumne Meadows hitching. It's taken a few days, but I finally "caught up" to your last video. In my younger days I had family in Independence, so I spent a lot of time in the Owens Valley and up and down the Sierra Eastern Escarpment. Your videos are like a walk down memory lane. They are just lovely. The trek alone is such an undertaking, so I really appreciate all of the extra efforts that are required for the videography! Yours are some of the best PCT videologues available. Looking forward to your further videos, but more importantly hope that you've gotten over whatever ailment you had in Yosemite. 安全第一で頑張って下さい!(Please be safe and keep at it!)

Take care of your health there Brother. Most of the few who I had been following have left the trail for various reasons but you are still out there! Kudos... Here is some hope for you, great weather up North in God's country (Oregon) is beginning to arrive after a long long wet Spring! But that will mean Skeeters so bring head netting at least and Skeeter Sauce 😀🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟. But above all, stay well! Oregon and ultimately Canada awaits your arrival LQ!

@@LordQuiche Dang heard lot if Oregon PCT closed due to present and past fires. Sorry.... you may miss some of the best of the trail. Come back next year. Hopefully you will enjoy some of the Oregon PCT! Do you have a ride around the closures? I will be watching you until Canada. You will make it. Last year, I watched a guy quit in Washington State. But you will make it.... hike on! 🥾🥾
