L.I.P., You are adorable with that hat. I love Boonie hats, it’s all I wear. I have had too many skin cancers burned off to even consider going without.

Bravo for all those miles, that’s a big chunk of the pct. That burned area was super sad but encouraging to see the new growth . Funny how a misstep can lead you to where you need to be. You’re already a very accomplished hiker Condor and I feel privileged to be tagging along. 🙏🏻🥰👏🏻

Congratulations on 700 miles! Love your picture at the 700 mile marker! You look so proud which you should be! You are doing great! I think I would've stayed at the cave since it was cooler.

Your hike through Lassen was so sad to see all the devastation!! Was so beautiful early June 2021. We had a grizzly mom and cubs come into the campground! Glad you had a peaceful night! Enjoy your videos alot! Thanks for taking us along

I love that area! The Dixie fire devastated so much. The tubes are cool to go through, its amazing to think that much lava flowed through there at one time! You are getting close to Burney Falls, another beyond beautiful place! Have fun!

Wow congrats on the miles!!! The burned area is not only sad but looks very intimidating as far as hiking through and staying safe! Glad you didn't explore the first cave by yourself, as a former caver, we always went with friends because if you get injured no one knows you are in there! Praying for you and looking forward to the next video!!!

Hat creek rim is really green compared to when I was there a year ago Memorial weekend. I did trail magic at mile 2115.2 on the 31st of July and met a group of 3- their 4th person was behind them and they were the 2nd group to enter the Sierras. Amazing how far they came since your time there. Loved hearing their story. Can only remember her name - Bitts.

Great job getting through that section with all the burn and challenges. It's definitely depressing to see the devastation. Definitely could tell your mood elevated when you got out of that. 🌻💛

You’re doing great! You’ve gone through that area at a good time where it’s not so hot. I know you’re well past the heat wave we’ve recently had. I look forward to your time in Burney falls which is really cool. Be safe!

You made good progress through this burn area. Yeah, log crossings can be tough, one day they're no problem and the next day it's a big stumbling block. You'll get better at it as you go now that there are more trees in the landscape and they fall across the streams. I crossed a lot on the PCT last year that was 10-12 feet over rushing water and about 30 feet long. I didn't look down and made it fine, but it made me nervous at that height.😅 Was the Subway Cave a lava tube? It didn't really look like a lava tube, but that's what we mostly find in the Cascades.

Wow, those trail maintenance folks carry a huge amount of weight! It is sad to see that the Dixie Fire gutted so much of the trail area in Lassen National Park. That is a cool-looking white moth. 700 miles? You’re well past 700 PCT miles.

I’m not a fan of slippery logs either 😬 I have landed straddling a log before. And, it was easy peasy for everyone else.

You are not a wimp Tiki Bird! You were out there doing most of us couldn’t or wouldn’t dare. Also, I’ve seen you get stronger through every challenge that was like your first anal hurdle with the log crossing and you did it you got over it! I’m sure you will handle any other challenge that’s coming along!

Hey, don't feel badly about the log crossing. Balance seems to "go" for people of a certain age. Don't ask me how I know😀(Spoiler alert, I'm right there with you...actually past you, so yeah, I get it.) The important thing is you're out there and doing the trail!
