So enjoying your updates. I've never hiked the PCT but through your vids I see a fun journey. You have a gift for telling a tale - even if it's not hiking, you have a talent to express a very fun perspective through your personality.

Well, that was an easy few days. No hills, no bugs, lots of soda!

Oh sweet! "Bye, Petals!" I still remember your 2022 travels with Roberto. I love that you bought the Gatorade and sodas for a trail magic offering! 😀

Puddles had to turn around the other day and self evacuate from the William‘s mine fire in the Mt. Adam’s wilderness 😬 she made it back to Cascade Locks. Roberto was the best, we had so much fun in 22 😂

I love Winthrop and that area. Did you hit the bakery in Twisp? It is so yummy.

I didn‘t stop at the bakery 😱 wish I would have known sooner. Winthrop is really great, it was a really cool stop 🤩👍🏻

2:38 That bridge looks even scarier from the bottom then it does from the top, seeing the bottoms of the cars driving over head. I would have said you should have saved the money on transportation and just kept on hiking with Puddles to the border. But with the way thing are going that would have been a really bad idea.
@juliasadventurevlog5 ай бұрын
It was so cool to see the bridge from a different perspective 😎 I really would have liked to keep hiking with Puddles, but I already did Washington in 2022 and it was a piece of work getting up and down all those mountains 😅 and I wouldn’t have had enough time this year. Puddles had to self evacuate out of the area the next day and hike back to Cascade Locks because of the William‘s mine fire 🔥

@@juliasadventurevlog Yeah it's good you didn't keep going with Puddles. I knew she would get far. It's lucky you only need to do Harts Pass to the border.

Nice to have a car, even if it’s a Kia. Way cheaper to rent the sub compact than a truck or SUV. Look forward to your continuing adventures. You already hiked the ups and downs of WA. Now you can get rewarded by touching the actual border. Will they let you go to manning park or you still have to hike back to harts pass?
@juliasadventurevlog5 ай бұрын
The Kia did a good job 😂👍🏻 I just like the big SUV‘s because they‘re typical for ‘Merica 🇺🇸😂😂 I‘m glad that I already hiked Washington, only a small part left to the border. I didn‘t get a permit to walk into Canada, so I just turn around and go back to Harts Pass.

Did you ever see any real bears or snakes on your PCT travels 2024?
@juliasadventurevlog5 ай бұрын
I saw one Diamond back rattlesnake this year 🐍😱 Lots of snakes and two bears in 2022. Sadly no pictures or videos of the bears ☹️

I like that Lifesaver shows her audience what she views through the lens. It makes it very personable, especially for those of us who have never (or likely never) been there to see it! So yeah... thanks for the great videography, Lifesaver, and keep on trekking.... do the DEW!

Oh, that was the Lion‘s den hostel in Mazama, WA. I put the name in there somewhere. It‘s usually full of hikers and the owner Mary does an amazing job taking care of everyone. About 20 hikers arrived that night, but I was already gone so I didn‘t get to film them. So I just showed all the amenities that are there. Highly recommend staying there, when you made it all the way to Mazama 😁👍🏻
