PB!!!!!!!! Look at you!! Congrats on your journey so far. You’re doing great! The views are stunning, for sure!! And the water is beautiful, but scary looking. I’m glad you hooked up with Monk for a while; He’s an awesome dude! Thank you so much for taking us along! Prayers for strength and safety for you, my friend! 🙏🏼💚

Thank you Debbie 🙏. The trail is so beautiful! It’s been great to hike with Monk again. There have been some sketchy areas but I’m still able to proceed safely. Hope you guys are doing well.

Gotta work on that will power to get up really early because plenty of snowy passes still ahead. But good work, onward you go. Bishop is a nice town, stayed there many times in my younger days when I skied Mammoth a lot. BTW, you're also lucky to see many of the lakes unfrozen in all their splendor.

Getting up early is tough bit doing my best 🤣. Thankfuly I had alot of hard pack snow on the passes. Bishop is much bigger than I expected.

Wow, what an incredible journey on the Pacific Crest Trail! Your thru-hike from Mexico to Canada is truly inspiring. Glen, Pinchot, and Mather Pass look absolutely breathtaking. Best of luck on the rest of your adventure. If you have any tips for future thru-hikers, I'd love to hear them. Keep pushing forward and stay strong! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad

Thank you 🙏 Get the mental hame strong anyway you can and find positive things in even the toughest times. One step at a time 😁 Pushing North and Appalachian Trials were two books that I’s highly recommend.

Them some dicey crossings! Good think you and Monk found each other again. More great snow hiking. I liked those shots of the group you were hiking with. Sure is purdy country. Are those hoary marmots? Awesome!

A few dicey crossings but nothing as fierce as what I had in Maine on the AT. That was an amazing section. It’s been nice to hike with Monk again. Those are Marmots. There are so many of them - can be pests at camp.

Good to have a partner, through these sketchy river crossings. I think you'll catch up to the Hiking Dancer soon.

The water crossings although cold haven’t been as bad as I was expecting. Easy to find safe spots to cross.

It was great to get to hike with Monk again. Yeah it looked like 2 mules deer bucks - they were quite far away.

Oh yeah - it’s melting so fast! Starting to wonder how soon until these passes are snow free.

What were the dates you crossed over these passes? I’m further back at Walker Pass and watching these for beta!

What is the delay time from recording to posting so I can get an estimate of *current* snow conditions

I just got to Bishop yesterday via Bishop Pass. I uploaded my videos from Kennedy Meadows to Bishop Pass/PCT junction yesterday and today. Last 3 videos had anywhere from 2 - 9 day delay from day of recording. Snow is melting so fast.
