I like the way you're doing this hike.Nothing makes for a sleepless night than seeing a bear on trail.

When I saw the title of this video I was like “wow that’s got to be a FKT for the Oregon section”.

I'm enjoying your videos just like I did your AT adventures! Different vibe!

There was a brief moment there that I thought we might have ended up on the same train out of Wenatchee! There must have been more than one that left that day or went in a different direction or something. Also super random, I talked to my mom while in Wenatchee waiting for the train and she told me my grandpa used to live there as well... small world, I swear. Glad to see you are mixing it up on your journey. I don't know why I didn't think to skip ahead to a different spot when I decided to get off trail in Stehekin. The bears were definitely freaking me out a bit too. I never saw one, but pretty sure I heard one visit me when I was camped alone at Six Mile camp. PCT sure is a different beast than the AT.

Ok.. My wife and I are not hikers we have been planning to take that ferry up to Stehekin with our daughter who lives in Wenatchee spend time around and ride it back to Chelan so I was watching some videos of people on it and your videos came up.. watched all your PCT vids. The views are amazing! Glad you and your partner joined back up and also that you missed the Pioneer fire shut down. also been to Wally's house of Booze several times my daughter lives about a mile up the hill from there.. Happy Trails on your Journey.. you got Grit. just subscribed

@@ericgardner3020 HIGHLY recommend taking the ferry to Stehekin! Some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever had the pleasure of viewing!

It's a good thing you had the "Power" with you on your arduous 2-day ferry, bus, and train journey.😉I wonder which made you feel more uncomfortable: a bear just outside your tent, sketchy people at the train station, or the vibes of Wally's House of Booze? It looks like your more easy-going, flexible LASH strategy (as opposed to your AT thru-hike) is suiting you well.

That can be the problem with reverting to public transportation although as the party mentioned were sort of forced into it by the climate.
