is it standard practice to just trust auto level? Our pd10 is not 100% accurate and it varies on every pole. I'm just wondering if its our machine and if it is, I would like to talk to someone who uses a pd10 on a daily basis. thank you

Hello I have worked as a Superintendent on many solar jobs nationwide. I have to say it really comes down to two things - Geotech reports and Construction expertise. I have not personally used the pd10 but have come around gayks which are exclusively distributed by Schletter and have seen acouple other drivers as well. They all do the same thing , some just have a couple knicks and knacks. Experienced operators know they must be able to control pile while it is being driven. I have seen other contractors autolevel and drive away ; later they have to pay the price with slow production due to poor quality.
