better late, than never...building now, after 3 years or so, back to pd2, noob so to say, nevertheless, always liked hydra build, btw, liked the tune also very much, hehe *cheers

you dont really max out hydra for map clear, you go combustion and hydra inbetween the cooldown.

Right now I only have infinity on a staff but this build interests me. How do you level up with this character, do you go for this build straight up or you go another element to farm LOD content before and then go in maps when you have infinity? Or I guess there should be a couple tier 1 maps you can do as a fire sorc

Well.. I started season with meteor and when i got bored, i did rebuild to hydra. Before this i tried to collect many hr's to buy gear. Its very expensive build as you see, and i don't recommend to farm/lvling with hydra, unless you got infinity and ton of +1 to all skills. Its possible ofc but slow, and hard to get some mf, so i suggest lvling and farm other build

Yeah I tried Meteor once and got bored of it really quickly.. I'm overall still burned out on sorc from the LOD days so combustion sorc seems fresh and new, I just don't feel like playing other sorc builds :/. Thanks for the reply!@@Puure.

Infinity is must have. Kira won't help much, fire pierce not work with hydra. I think pus spitter with low res chance would be good alternate (merc A1)
