I love that final shot of the shadow walking across the house. Just like The BFG.

The greatness and humility of this man is breathtaking. "That's a good onion, isn't it."

This was lovely! I am 34 years old and did not grow up reading his books sadly. But have enjoyed all the movies. I started a new job where I can listen to my earbuds. And have absolutely fell in love with this man's work through audio books ❤

I think Mr. Dahl was really trying to tell us something when at the end he said "and now i must go on another long journey" R.I.P.

I've just finished reading his biography. His life was full of traumatic events. His writing hut is pretty simple, ugly really, but he didn't really care much for material things, apart from great paintings and antique furniture, that is.
