It’s so great to see you again, Lisa. I appreciate you taking us through this clear out and sharing your thought process. I don’t have as many patterns, but I know there are some I printed off and they just didn’t align with my personal style. This was a few years ago when I first started sewing and I got caught up in whatever new pattern was taking the sewing community by storm. I’ve learned my lesson now. 😂 I’m inspired to go through my patterns today. 💕💕

This top is so pretty on you, I love how it drapes. Can I ask what size you cut? I'm a little bigger than you but am stuck on which size I should make😵💫, especially with the finished size being substantially bigger than measurement size. Please help🫨

So great to see you back! Yes 🙌🏻 decluttering your room is always great! Not sure if in your area you can find see thru plastic 8x11 zip envelopes. I buy them here in US at the dollar store. I store all my indie patterns. Then I put all the envelopes stacked in a cubic bin on my book shelf in my sewing room! 😅 I can see throwing away those I don’t intend on sewing again. However, fashion changes all the time. And all the work I do on altering the patterns I would hate to throw that away! 😅But, you’re right out with the old and in withe the new! And you can always print them again 🙌🏻 love your videos. Hope to see what you make next! ❤

I was doing this just yesterday! I have way too many patterns so I halved them down to 80 or so. But now I'm thinking I could get rid of even more. Yes, I need to start afresh. You're right - what I wanted to sew years ago is not what I want to sew now. Thanks for the inspiration to let go of the past.

I’m doing the same . Today my patterns get purged, tomorrow will be the fabrics. I did this two years ago so the things that I saved back then will be purged if I have not used them yet or have plans to use them. Good to see you here! I admire your pattern and fabric choices and you always inspire me in my decisions for new projects.

I’ve always created an envelope for my PDF patterns. I have four or five to cut out once I get back home😊 I like using the large manilla envelopes for these. I usually print off a picture of the garment too fir envelope front. Directions and pattern pieces go inside, but if I have a typical back envelope piece, that goes outside either front or back😊 I love those large plastic envious; I’ve never seen those before now.
@Lisamakes2 ай бұрын
That’s a great system! I liked the large envelopes because I didn’t love folding the largest pattern pieces so much. I think the plastic ones are a good compromise.
