PDM Sedley KILLER For Cheap - Lattafa Maahir Legacy Review

This fragrance gives me compliments every time I wear it. I tried sedley a few times and it's similar but it has it's own personality. Sedley is more minty and bright in the opening, like a sprite freshness feeling. I can't remember the drydown but I know was sexy and could feel the quality, very well rounded. On the other hand, the opening of legacy I feel a strong lemon peel and a little mint behind with very clear ambroxan, metalic smell. In the notes pineapple is listed which I think is a bitter pineapple because I don't feel nothing sweet in the fragrance. After 30 minutes I still feel the lemon but more subtle, I get more the mint but nothing super crazy, some black pepper something kinda green which could be the oak moss or vetiver. I don't know a lot so I could be missing something but that's my feeling. It's 100% worth it, it lasts me for 5 hours working outdoors in a 80°+ temperature, great projection and sillage. For 30 bucks this is a no brainer and blind buy for sure.

Got this in a couple days ago and wow! What a fantastic Ambroxan, citrusy blast that projected and sillaged almost as much as DSE! Was getting HUGE whiffs well into the 10 hour mark. Great scent profile! Plan on wearing this a lot this spring and summer

Thank you for the honest, unbiased review. I had read some blog user comments out there, and I found many of those can get a bit harsh in their opinions and judgments... beating it up and taking its lunch money. Like you point out...at this price point is not bad and more than 3/4 of the way to match Sedley ( which I personally can not justify the price to pay). I have both sedley and maahir legacy and imo I wouldn’t call this a clone. They are similar but NOT close to sedley. Legacy is more zesty and citrusy. The dry down will really tell them apart. To me it’s like sedley vibe combined with chanel egoiste platinum. Legacy is still a good fragrance on its own.

Love this fragrance so far. Been wearing it the past 2 days and it frickin rocks. So close to sedley, especially after it dries down. Sedleys opening is a bit more nuanced and "expensive" smelling, but to me the difference is minor and 20 minutes after spraying all bets are off. Sedley has a stronger "sprite" feel in the opening that the lataffa is missing, other than that they're almost indistinguishable

I love this one the opening is like like peel or zest and then it becomes incredibly fresh and smooth and slightly sweet. My wife absolutely loves it as well. Swiss arabian walaa is fantastic as well as is lattafa 24k white gold. The 3 kinda go together. Same fresh lovely vibe.

Hoping it improves with maturation, but at this point (batch code shows it's really new, only a couple months old) I can barely smell it after 5 hours. I'll be trying it this weekend by layering it with some iso-e super, see if that improves the longevity.

I got mine about a month and a half ago. It smells great. Pretty close to sedley, except it’s a bit mintier and spicier while sedley is more sparkling and fresh. It doesn’t have that nice drydown change that sedley has, Maahir is more linear. Sedley def smells much more quality and natural but the price difference is crazy I think it’s well worth the buy! I use my clones to keep my real stuff for better occasions, I don’t use them to replace the real deal unless it is that damn good like aka Asad, amber oud Ruby or bleu exclusif

Active days (beach, pool, bar hopping, day parties) Sedley is the go to. Clubbing, dates, special occasions, I gravitate to layton forsure. Warm seasons = Sedley. Colder seasons = Layton

It's alright. It's very tame actually , I spray about 16 times on skin and it lasts like 5 hours. I hate the opening personally as it comes too close to lemon floor cleaner but it drys down after about 10 minutes into a very fresh and pleasant smell. It doesn't project like a beast though, especially after the first hour.

To my nose it's close enough. Like Dallas said easily 90%. For the price point it's a no brainer. After sampling sedley and not being blown away (it also didn't last long on me) I decided not to buy a bottle at that price point so for me this is a great alternative. There's some difference but not enough to justify the PDM price tag. Something i've noticed a lot of the middle eastern frags have a very pronounced note i've noticed it in this one and latafa fakar black. It's not unpleasant but i just notice it more in a lot of the latafas or maybe the two have a similar DNA.
