An Alternative View What's happening to Tinubu and the APC should cause Nigerians, especially Southern Nigerians to introspect deeply. Why's the president seemingly against Tinubu, his party's presidential candidate? Is the president bringing down the APC house that made him? Who's the president supporting in this election? And why? As much as we all may not like Tinubu and his politics, is it possible that we're all playing into a well-crafted fulani gameplan? Is it possible that what buhari is dishing out to Tinubu is what he actually cooked for all Southern Nigerians and we're all clapping for him because we think it's only Tinubu that is at the receiving end? I think so. I guess that it's now clear even to the blind that there's a raging inferno in the APC. Why would a sitting president permit the ongoing misery in his country on the eve of a decisive election if not that he wants his party to fail and fail woefully? Clearly the president doesn't want a Tinubu presidency. But it goes beyond Tinubu. I suspect that the president doesn't want to be succeeded by a Southerner. So, who does buhari want as president? The straightforward answer is Atiku Abubakar. It all started when, against all odds, Atiku emerged as the presidential candidate of the PDP. From that moment, the president was prepared to emasculate the APC and pave an easy way for Atiku if APC didn't produce another northern hawk as presidential candidate. The APC Chairman, Abdullahi even attempted to foist Ahmed Lawan as APC presidential candidate but Tinubu's dollars ensured that failed. The fulanis don't care about political party loyalty; they care only about loyalty to the fulani and all northern politicians, especially of the muslim extraction understand that. All about the muslim-muslim ticket, the campaign of calumny against Tinubu even from his PCC, all the desertions from the APC to the PDP starting from Katsina State, all the amplifications of Tinubu's shady background and infirmities, as true as they may be, etc, all serve the same purpose. So, whereas we may all be in the opposing camp to Tinubu, and enjoying it all we like, we need to know that we Southerners, are confronted with the same existential threat. Fortunately, the president and the northern hawks never planned for the emergence of Peter Obi on the scene. They're still wondering where he came from. Atiku Abubakar was supposed to have a free ride to Aso Rock. Let's all, therefore, use the golden bullet, Peter Obi, that GOD has thrown to us.

With the campaign crowd Atiku is pulling in the South, it seems he is going to run shoulder with obi in the South, more particularly in south east and south south, remember that originally, south east and south south are PDP regions. Are you sure, Obi will be able to compete with Atiku in the North? It is very clear that Atiku will have more votes than Obi in election outcome. All the same, the southern votes of Atiku in 2019 will be shared between Atiku and Obi, though, Obi has gained more new fans. Tinubu will gather more vote for APC in 2023 election than has the party had in 2019. This is because, has entered South east and south south more deeply this time and more people that voted for PDP in last election will vote for APC in 2023 because of Tinubu's factor but Tinubu can not get much voted in SE and SS as much as Atiku and Obi. Much clearly, the Southern bites will be nearly equally shared among the three major contenders but can Tinubu and Obi beat Atiku in the north? One advantage Tinubu is having now is that APC is rulling in 22 states out of 36 states and at least, the party, APC, must have between 35% and 45% votes in each of those states they are rulling.
