I got the Riffmaster to use late at night since it's quieter than my Wiitar, but I don't like the mushy strumbar. This seems better, but is it going to be as loud as the Wiitar? I really want to love this thing, but it's going to take some getting used to.

@Matt-fc9ms they're definitely equal to a standard guitar hero controller on the noise level. I'm also using just run of the mill switches here. You could find some softer ones or even maybe use keyboard switches that have the tactile feel but no audible click. I've done that on a rock band guitar in the past as well as a few GH and it gets good results. A nice quiet strum, save for the plastic bumpers, that still has a very distinct and locked in actuation point. The mushy bars suck also because they aren't precise so having great rhythm is harder to achieve

If you find a video on my channel, how buying the wrong switches wasn't a bad idea, or something like that. I go over the key switches I mentioned. Wouldn't be the same method as this video shows, but more shows different options

i talked to you a long time ago about buying a long whammy from a rb strat or like a gh5 (just the bar itself and c clip) but we never got any further than that

I came across your videos and see you dabble in modding guitar controllers. funny question. could you possibly be interested in coming up with an idea or helping with a logitech guitar (ps3), without dungle. I am very interested in getting it modded for PC. and I simply can't find anything online about it :/

I'm so glad you want to help. it's such a cool guitar. just too bad they have a bad reputation for being bad. and are useless without dungle :(
