Replying to the above after running it through Google translate. The reason why there was less controversy with Zaion's termination was that Zaion has nothing to back her. With Selen, her public presence is larger and everyone who has met or collabed with her had a good impression, so when Nijisanji constructively terminated her and her old colleagues started to blackball her, the entire English community could see what was happening! And because Anycolor did the exact same thing to Zaion last year, the EN community sees a repeat pattern and now they think the claims on Zaion's termination note are likely to be manufactured as well. Therefore it looks like the company is really "one colour", and the colour is black. It's not only children who watch anime girls and boys do things. Adults watch too. Adults who may or may not have been terminated from jobs before with similar nonsense. These viewers are not born yesterday, don't pretend to be transparent when the intention is to character assassinate an outgoing employee.

@@GreatChicken2you’re right, the color is black because recently Uki made very racist tweets recently against white people.
KZbin auto-generated subtitles does not do you justice. You have my admiration for covering this and apparently letting the japanese audience both know about NijiEN's giant problem, and for some, that NijiEN even exists.
There's actually a lot of speculation that Niji EN will merge to Niji JP just like other brannches 🥲

@@mitacestalia7532 I think it is good for en livers that Niji-sanji en is integrated into Niji-sanji jp. Niji-sanji jp has not had as many problems as Niji-sanji en. It has more problems than Hololive. The management will probably have to choose between completely ending the business of Niji-sanjien or integrating it into Niji-sanji jp. transated by deepL
Haven't watched a PDR video in a long while glad to see your videos are still top tier brother, also I'm surprised watching Japanese Vtubers actually has improved my Japanese to the point where I could understand about 90% of this video!

I am impressed. PDR managed to summarise this whole situation while also accurately expressing the grievances of the EN fans regarding how Nijisanji handled this. In fact it was so easy to understand that even someone like me, with weeb level japanese could understand. Thank you for covering this !

true, and for I can tell some people in Japan didn't even know that Nijisanji EN existed, that's why some of them became confused with the sudden anger toward the company.

@@juarezamorim in fact the majority of the translated comments here are saying that they didn't know what was going on, made worse that all of the rage and uproar was in English so they couldn't really understand why
Thank you for compiling everything together in such an easy to understand way, us oversea fans really appreciate your time and effort. Good job PDRsan! o7
I just want to say, thank you for covering this. While I know Japanese, it’s not high enough to explain a case this level, much less summarize it in a concise way. Again, thank you.

@@koganenokoro4361 Tf you mean?? 50% of them are condemning the company, ofc they're sympathising with Selen even if they don't vocalize it. The other half's just thanking the channel for clearing things up.
You know things are really bad when PDR, someone who doesn't usually cover vtuber stuff, starts reporting about vtubers stuff 😂

There have been a couple of lawyers chiming in on the EN side of things too, who have never covered this stuff before. tl;dr: some of this probably wasn't legal, but it's small enough that an international lawsuit isn't happening unless the company finds another way to escalate instead of walk away.

I'm glad PDR san covered this. A lot of the puzzle pieces are falling into place and past statements from ex-livers of the company make a lot more sense now especially in the EN branch where there are speculations of certain talents being a part of management and having complete control over other talents and their creative projects.
I came for the usual meme : "Subtitles doko?" By the way i'm kinda impressed that even tho I can't translate word by word I get what you are saying.

Even though I don’t understand the video that much albeit a few screenshots you showed, I’m glad that you, a Japanese content creator, are covering this serious topic of the extreme case of Nijisanji mismanagement. And also be careful, Nijisanji’s “fans” (or paid defenders) made a hits list or blacklist that specifically targets any people or content creators attacking the company. Given the content creators who are on the list, it’s gonna end REALLY badly not just the “fans”, but the company itself. Love from an overseas bro.

Overall pretty good summary. Maybe a little charitable to Niji (as I imagine he has to be more careful about statements against Japanese corporations due to local laws) compared to how the Westerners are portraying the situation.
