More information on how I have adapted here...I have about 6 balls being used. If it goes past the end line it is 1 pt. 3 pts. for going in between the two cones and 5 pts. for knocking over a pin (about 6 on each side). We have a nice scoreboard in our middle school gym so I have to really focus on the points but this easily became one of my 6th graders favorite games last year. Excited to do it again this week. I also do the same exact game for our Hockey Unit. Except we use foam balls, pucks, and tennis balls. You got my creative juices going with this one. Thank you!

I am so glad I found this channel. I am a PE teacher at our homeschool co-op. I teach grades 3-6 once a week and was searching for fun, active game ideas.

Really enjoy this game with my 6th graders during the "Bowling/Rolling Unit." I've made some adaptions to make more scoring. Thank you so much again for the time and effort you put into this channel. It's a great blessing!

If only one or two balls used, what is everyone else doing when they don't have a ball, in a class of 28? I will try this with some adaptations and more balls, 6-8. I will encourage my students to come up with some adaptations to encourage buy-in and creativity.

Use more balls and add rules. Example - Ball hits legs - 10 push ups

Can the students move about on the court? or do they need to stay in place?

It seems like this game wouldn’t work with just one or two balls... the kids would be able to stop the ball pretty easily, and the aggressive kids would mob together a bit. Then again, I haven’t tried it yet... I’ll give it a shot.
