Step 1: Education Step 2: Get a job, Step 3: get financial independence Step 4: get your life partner Step 5: repeat step 1 again to grow in the job Don’t STOP after each step, you can pause for a year max but some how find a way to reach step 5 and be financial independence You will be treated almost close to equal. Share the knowledge to next generation and other women’s. As per my knowledge, I can see most of the girls pass step 1, 50% step 2, 25 % step 3 and get step 4 But after that only 10% reaches step 5. Keep stand on your own feet no matter what.

Once a girl marry problem is finance is handled by man or husband even though girl is earning still society is such girl is forced to give her salary or management of money to husband. Secondly I feel that whenever we give power to indians instead of using that power people tend to misuse it. Example when man in power he dominates women when women get power they also start dominating men. These are the bad qualities which indians have. They never use authority with responsibility. They are arrogant people who misuse their power and authority. Having said that more than education as periyar said thinking, independent and critical thinking is must especially for indians because they have only bookish information. Indians don't have knowledge, intelligence and critical thinking.

Great thoughts by thanthai periyar 🙌 thank you sharing it, but it's sad that still many people in the society are simply mad no matter what. In the name of old cultures and traditions, they are being stupid. They just take the set of cultural things which are comfortable for them and be selfish these days. Every woman must speak and fight for herself no matter what the society says. Lastly I am very sad to tell the reality that women are the first enemy in suppressing other women in society. I am just waiting for the day when it's all going to change.

I’m fan of periyar 50/50 only, because he fought and taught women rights and freedom that’s absolutely appreciated. But he forgot to teach how to use their freedom and rights in correct way. Nowadays we all can see lots of divorces, no family attitude, competitive mindset even in family and cultural collapse… in the name of freedom and rights. Both men and women should understand patience and adjustment to run a healthy family. futuristic man ain’t think so futuristic…

One cannot generalize what he says for all women. while it is important to respect women, forcing on them male version of liberalism and freedom is as bad as enslaving women for men's whims and fancies. Women need not ape men. They should find their own role in the society and they do have a more sublime and responsible role in the society. Men and the government and the society should support and encourage women ONLY if they live a responsible life...what if women, just like men, misuse and abuse their individual freedom and live a life that they think is convenient to them but not empowering for her or for the people around her...then the society and the men are not obligated to support them in any way. It is not right to look at women as individuals, they are also part of the society and a minimum harmony and smooth relationship could also be empowering for women.
