Mooi toestel Marco. Heb er ook zo eentje in mint condition en een tweede die ik nu ah opknappen ben. Heb dit 2de op ebay gekocht en was danig beschadigd, denk enkele malen op de grond gevallen ;-( Het achterrooster met ventilo was ingedeukt zelfs vijzen binnenin afgebroken...Tja op ebay verkoopt men alles tegenwoordig zgz in goede staat. Dit blikwerk terug goed kunnen brengen met een hydraulische pers. Vandaag de 2 backup batterijtjes vernieuwd (knoopcelhouders geplaatst, toekomstgericht;-) en ook de condensatoren vernieuwd op het avr bord. Front en knoppen zijn ook vernieuwd.Hoop dit herstelde toestel dan met plezier te gebruiken in onze vakantiewoning.73s en geniet van dit pareltje!

The scratches on your TS-940S main tuning knob can be cleaned by simply peeling off the protective sheet. It's okay because the sheet can be easily peeled off !!!!

The TS-940 ain't a "boat anchor" Marco .... it's just not an SMD airbox like most rigs today are ... so it weighs in a bit. Still the receiver performance arguably hasn't been bested by anything produced yet!

God i love how the Vfo-dial always is a bit offset, and doesnt run perfectly circular... My dads TS-940S/AT does that too, gives the radio its charm ;) 73 de SA3BRX
