Damn...I truly, dearly and sincerely must apologize to the rest of you who didn't grow up during the 90s but you missed out big time. Aside from the Disney renaissance era and high-quality Disney-produced cartoon series, we had films like Jurassic Park being released (with all the toys that had life-like rubber skin), video games such as SNES and Sega Genesis, Michael Jordan and the Bulls...hell, it really was an awesome time to be a kid!

This has been me and my mom's song since the movie came out. Whenever it would come on the radio, I'd run to her and hug her, and we'd HAVE to dance until the song was over. A couple months ago, the song came on, and just like old times I ran to my mom and we danced. It was a beautiful moment and kind of emotional. I'm 25 now, but times like that make me feel like a kid again. Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms out there like mine!

Saw Peabo and Deniece Williams here in Tokyo at Blue Note on Wed Feb 11 and he was AMAZING:) we are going again tonight cos he was so incredible!
