Peace Baptist Church (Decatur, GA) 30-Year Anniversary Awards Banquet

On March 26th, 2023, Peace Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia celebrated their 30th year church anniversary and hosted a celebratory homecoming at renowned Fox Theater for founding members, former elders and current co-laborers whose tireless and unique contributions have made Peace Baptist a beacon for churches within Atlanta and throughout the South.
I discovered Peace Baptist Church in 2003 by way of their College Ministry. I returned to Atlanta in 2009 and reconnected with the church. Peace is where I began Worship Photography on Easter Sunday. I was nervous to bring a camera into the sanctuary, but the pastor assured me, "When sistas get their hair done, believe me, they want their picture taken!"
Four cameras and a few decades later, they humbled me by hiring my photography business, Lens Lab Imaging to capture their once in a lifetime memories at the Fox Theater. God is good all the time!
