I always appreciated how firm President Bartlett was with Speaker Halfley
@austinsa8 ай бұрын
Halfey is right and Bartlett is just as delusional as real life democrats. The Palestinians and the Arab world don't want peace, that's why they've fought against every peace deal, concession, and two state solution that's ever been offered. It's why they turn water pipes into missiles and fertilizer into bombs. They want the complete and unfettered genocide of the Jewish people, and it's more important to them than eating or drinking.

Only today is so much worse. Instead of an intelligent, compassionate president trying to fight for peace, we have an election between two senile assholes who don't have 2 functional brain cells between them, one who is actively aiding in genocide, the other who has committed numerous crimes.

The Americans want peace. The Europeans want peace. The Israelis mostly want peace. But Gaza has a vote too.
@Wolf-ln1ml7 ай бұрын
@@caseychambers2693 Pretty much everyone wants peace. But many people _also_ want other stuff, and those desires outweigh the want for peace. Jews and Muslims (many in that area, and quite a lot all over the world) both want peace - but they both _also_ want to "own" some very specific geograpic locations that they both deem "holy", and they are both offended by the very presence of the other party at those geographic locations, and that offense outweighs the want for peace... The whole Gaza situation really is a perfect example of the harm that religion causes... Remove the religious meaning for those locations, and that whole conflict becomes _very_ easy to resolve...
