I've noticed that all the different Paracord videos I've seen, no one mentions what size cord to use 550, 275,.... I think it would help a lot for us beginners. Otherwise great videos very well made. Thank you.

You might consider using a light background color because it is difficult to see the black cord on the black counter top! Love your work!

thanks for the feedback linda. i thought with the closeup zoom in it looked ok to me but will consider something else next time i do black.

I don't know why people complain about the dark background and the use of black cord - I find it is quite clear with the close up of the work. Maybe these people should be wearing glasses but don't realise yet that their eye sight is going. I am not being rude so please don't be offended but I agree with the producer - it's very clear to see the cords

Hi! Great tutorial!! How do you compensate for the thickness of the collar? I did a farbenspiel trilobite wave yesterday, and the diference in circumference between the outside and the inside of the collar is around an inch. Adding an inch of length to any design/wave is a good rule of thumb?
@Peacedonkeys5 жыл бұрын
hi valerie, yes, you always lose a little bit, and the shorter the collar, the more it seems you lose. Just make sure you have a few inches to work with in the adjustable part so you are covered. all the best with it!

So this a 20 inch collar what size will it actually adjust down to
@Peacedonkeys5 жыл бұрын
hi john, the inside when buckled up is around 17 inches, it fits a dog neck of 16 inches with 1 inch for comfort. All the best.

@@Peacedonkeysthank you very much my dogs current collar measures 16 inchs so that will work

Hey there can I do this weave/ design for a noseband/ headband for my bitless horse bridle using your design?
@Peacedonkeys7 жыл бұрын
i have a similar video showing how to do the single strand bootlace for a noseband, but i'm pretty sure you could modify it to do the double one like in the dog collar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3TZhGqefayKa6s. good luck.
@ellinlouisemillersnoxell71707 жыл бұрын
okay thanks I think this weave would look good on my horses bitless bridle

How do you calculate amount needed for collar sizes
@Peacedonkeys5 жыл бұрын
hi lisa, i use some scrap pieces, do a few inches, undo it to see how much i used for 5 inches, then multiply it by how long i want my collar to be. all the best with it.
@matthancock35266 жыл бұрын
Is it 20ft in total or 20 on each side maam ?
@Peacedonkeys6 жыл бұрын
hi matt, the 20 feet of black is the total amount you need.
