Great project. And this is why I refer to you as the queen of techniques! I have a couple friends who put their trees up. I usually wait until Thanksgiving weekend, but I might do it early too. I have 2 trees, 1 that had family ornaments on it and the other is a snowman Christmas tree. After Christmas my snowmen come to visit until spring.

Wow Amy, what a spectacular card. As a Canadian, I personally wouldn't decorate this early (but our Thanksgiving is in October). With your Thanksgiving being in November, I can totally understand why you decorate early. How wonderful that you have a knitting/crochet club at school. I believe that if you keep children occupied they are less likely to have enough time to get into mischief. Thanks as always for a great card and video. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊

You could put a glob of glue on your silicone craft mat and add it to the tree using a sponge. 😊

So lovely! My problem with green glue is that it never dries completely! It stays tacky. I have gone to Bearly Art glue or Nuvo. They are both great and dry completely! Liquid glue is much more economical. I've seen other SU demonstrators use either of these🙂

Yes! I hate that is does not totally dry! I have not tried that glue. I will have to see if I can do better with that!

I love this card going to attempt it myself. Never thought about using the white ink. As for the glue use the other end. Large end and just lightly swipe it works great for me. Just a thought.

Great ideas...I will snag a few especially the craft ink yo then emboss over...for your glue issue have u tried adhesive sheets...just lye your tree die cuts onto the sheet and tiny little glue dots stick to the die cut...I use them all the time for intricate sentiment dies and trees like u had

I think the lines are because you aren’t doing some circles off the paper, but you are just tapping so there is still some strong color left on brush

That is a beautiful card and I think I might try it. I am a late decorator because I’ve always had live trees. I live in Oregon and I just have to go out to my backyard and cut down a tree. But when my husband got sick a couple years ago, I bought a man-made tree. So that’s what I use now.💕💕💕
