Amen! Loved this! It's so true that you don't have to understand the big picture , to trust Him. I've lost Him before and now I found Him again. Alex, this is exactly what the Lord is teaching me at the moment! I've been discerning His will for me in my life, and He has opened the door for me to do freelance tutoring, which was a surprise to me. I am just trying to trust in His providence and goodness despite not knowing why He has put me in a financially difficult situation.

Hey! We have the same name (I even go by "Alex" too)! It's nice to see another Christian who focuses on slow living and minimalism. I feel like minimalism has so many Biblical principles that can really benefit our Christian lifestyle and walk with God. One Biblical example of minimalism I can think of immediately is fasting: we fast so God can take more of us (our flesh) so that we may receive more of Him and His spirit. God takes from our lives the things that don't serve us so that we can give more of our heart, time, and attention to Him. Unlike minimalism though, we don't get rid of things so that we'll have a greater CAPACITY for other things, we get rid of sin so that we can RECEIVE from God, an infinite source who will increase our capacity through ministering from and reception to His spirit. Thanks for the great content!
