Hi there! If you are new to my channel, welcome to my garden. I’m in Southern New Jersey, Zone 7a. If you are returning, let me humbly thank you! I am just a modest home town gardener. I do all of the gardening, planting, mowing, maintenance 100% by myself. I love English style cottage gardens. I’m a huge fan of the wonderful Garden Answer KZbin videos. I have been applying what I learn from them into tighter working space in a completely different climate. We get tons of rain and extreme humidity. This is a follow-up to a video I posted in the Spring when all of the plants were newly growing. You can see that there has been significant growth, and tons filling in! A little love, water, weekly fertilizer. In the beginning of the video, I show massive pumpkin vines. Those are Cinderella and Fairytale pumpkins, and to maximize on space, I have them trailing up our entire driveway filling in the gaps. I see some little pumpkins forming! I wanted this to be a peaceful tour, so I don’t have any audio or distractions other than that provided by nature. I will be continuing these quite tours, mixed in with other videos coming up where I will be planting up some Fall inspiration. Thanks! It really was just had a bunch of proven winners shrubs and annuals and not a whole lot of design experience on my part at this time. It was one big blob of plants you could find common at any nursey. Now I’m trying to make it special, meaningful to me, try new plants, grow things from seed, and actually “garden” with a little more creativity and thought than just a big hydrangea and Supertunias.

So happy to find your channel. I am in North Ga. but 7b on the lake. I can grow most of the same things you are growing. I love the way you use the space. I am revamping my yard after 19 years. It is a slow process but very needed. Light and shade change over the years. Plants, shrubs and trees outgrow the original spaces. Anyway, you are very inspiring to watch and you have great ideas! Love your style!
