this reminds me of when i was around 6-7 yrs old. I used to wake up around 6 am before everyone else and climb up the cabinets to get a cookie from a high area. Then I would just go out on my deck in my backyard and just listen to the wind, feel the sun rise, and look at the birds. I would watch the sky change colors and smell that morning breeze. Sometimes I wish I could be that young again just so I can relive a nice morning like that for one more day. I feel like those little memories I had at that age mean a lot. It shows that at the end of the day we all strive for one thing, peace.

Just stumbled upon this, amazing image. I was a soldier for 6 years and now a Firefighter for the past 24 years. Unfortunately I’ve seen a lot. I often find the need to be alone in a quiet place, sometimes it’s 5 minutes on the bumper of the Engine after a fire or bad call, sometimes it’s a day in the woods on a bench. I’m retiring in a few years and my decompression will be a solo drive across the country. Everyone has internal battles at times.

This just reminds me back when I was just a kid, at my uncle's ranch, the warm afternoons and the sun lightly hitting you on the forehead, I remember clear as day that my uncle was teaching me how to ride a horse properly, such fun times we had back then. Thats been a while since i first ear at this, when i started to listen, i expected to rest like i can cause i cant sleep without some noises etc, apart if il extrememy tired. I actually cant sleep with it but i still come back on it for writing sessions, my three last sessions was made with this in my ears, i really like it. Every night are difficult. Every day are more difficult. School is hell and holidays are the loneliness in its purest form. I moved to the city alone a year ago and since then I can't stop feeling stressed, uneasy; I can't disconnect from the speed of the city. I lived in the south of Argentina, in Patagonia, where there is a lot of nature. The peace of those places between the way to work and the way home has no comparison, it is simply incomparable. Living there means having those minutes of mental health without fail when going out to the supermarket, going to work or going to a friend's house. How I would like to live in a place like that again, I just don't understand the people of the city, how they can live that way. Sorry for my bad english, i keep learning.
