The gown my Mom use to wear that type it came as a set with a nightgown . That was in the 50’s she had a few sets & slippers to match with feathers . She looked so pretty . I miss her so much ❤️

I can’t believe I caught you when you just put this up. We have been part of the hurricane and flooding in the area where I live at. It seems to be going on for the last three days. The cleanup today was crazy. It’s been a while since we’ve had this type of weather. I know you’ve been through this before too, but thanks for putting a video out today. Yes, it hit hard..I'm in florida and it hit family hard..hurricane Michael hit us almost 6 years ago..and our home got hit hard..but praise the Lord, we have refinished all that was damaged,cand praying for safety this time around..

Just an idea , that silver platter missing the handle if you wanted you could use the handle as a hook put a nail in the wall and use that as wall decor and if you really wanted to take it up a notch some flowers or greenery tied with an olive green velvet ribbon could hang off of the platter as well! I love thrifting with you, great way to start my morning.😊 There where you were looking at the picnic basket, there was an old hutch in the corner..i love that piece & would love to find one like that. I just love that old look! Love the cloche with the wood knob, love the shape & height, very pretty! I have a couple like the one you sat on the wicker plate. I like that look with the grater too Julie.. I've got one old rusty one i use on a shelf, but i want to find a couple more old ones & hang them staggered with the florals & tea towels. The canister set was pretty, i would probably use them for plants or in the pantry for dry goods or snacks maybe. Corelle has really gotten super popular! Those & the blue & white dishes are basically all my mom had when i was young. I've always liked the bowls & plates for everyday dishes. Really nice frame with the linen border for that price, didn't care for the picture, just not my personal style. I love amber bottles, i love any old bottles, but amber glass is just so pretty!🤎 Love the one you picked up! Oh that metal piece you picked up that holds candles was so cool! I loved that, you could do alot with that piece! It would make a great fall centerpiece with candles & florals and/or dried florals. The brown & tan coffee cups always remind me of my grandma🥹 She always used a coffee cup that color, but had more beige & it was fluted down the sides. Loved the green candle holder! I'd scuff it up with some sand paper & rub it down with antiquing wax to make it look old! Always pick up little wood boxes, great for any decor! Loved the wood chest, the one with drawers was pretty too. Ohhh my goodness! That old lamp without the shade for $3.99..i would have squealed!😄 I love collecting old lamps & I've been looking for one like that with the round bottom & florals on it! I really liked those florals on it because they were more neutral. And the one beside it.. girl i would have been A happy camper with those 2 pieces! The one with roses looked so Victorian, which i love collecting Victorian pieces too! Lol i would have spent too much already!😄 I really liked the white wall shelf too. Another piece I would distress & rub down with the antiquing wax or paint it maybe, it could be really pretty & look really primitive or antique. I love to pick up any type of shelves. Of course I'd clean it good first!😉 The thin gold frame looked vintage with that back. It looked just like the frames my mom had my baby pictures in.🥹 The small wood rings make cute frames for hand stitched pieces or wreaths. I have a small one I'm going to glue the song "Amazing Grace" from a hymnal to the the back after i tea stain both the hoop & the page. I'll hang it with jute & put small cotton lace around it, which i'll also tea stain. I'm going to try to make it look old. The silk gown was so pretty! I looked vintage to me.🤷‍♀️ I have that same little coffee pot in teal😊 I noticed the hobnail milkglass lamp where you sat the little box with oils. Love it! I have 2 hobnail milkglass lamps, one's really old & its what started my lamp obsession & collecting lamps.😊 Love how you styled the silver tray. I have several, in different sizes & love using them in different ways, you can do alot with them. I really enjoyed shipping with you today, lol can't you tell?! I’m pretty sure the little box that you left behind is a Dresden porcelain box and it would have had a much more ornate lid of the same color as the box and most likely with a bunch of porcelain flowers on it. Still cute but you were right about the lid🙂
