Lovely history of the park. There were lots of memorial parks built after the First World War all over the UK but that's the first one I've heard of which commemorates the sacrifices 100 years on.

Yes it was a lovely park, I think there was more down the coast which we didn’t get to see but definitely one to note! Especially for you John.

been waiting all day for your upload Suprise parkrun, as been following your journey watching all your videos soon as uploaded, always ready for your next upload in excitement. also do you plan your next park in advance to keep it a Suprise? as you never annonce where your off to next? just curious. 😊

Hope you enjoyed it! We like to keep it a surprise but we do like to travel spontaneously so it’s more of a surprise to us too 😂
