It’s so meta to have the ad break be you talking about Harlequin 🤯

I read "The Duke and the Lady in Red" last month. It took me by surprise and I loved it. At the end of every month, I name my favorite character. It was the first time it wasn't a main character, but Harry just so touched my heart.

I'm a forbidden and angst gal. Tal Bauer's MM sports romances especially The Quarterback are some of my favs. I sobbed during the bathtub scene so hard. I also love Carian Cole's books.

I think you would like "Study Buddy" by Jen Cooper. I read it right after reading "Still Beating" and I loved it more. It is not as dark as "Still Beating" but the main female character is in college. She is shy and bookish. She had a twin sister that was the complete opposite of her, fun, and outgoing that died. Before the twin sister died, she made her promise that she would have fun in college and change her ways. The main guy is the star on his college team and is doing horrible academically. They basically use each other to get what they need and end up falling for one another. It's sad, funny, and the choices they make will keep you guessing.
