I cannot believe how much of an amazing actor John Cena is becoming thanks in large part to the direction of James Gunn. As a kid I grew up watching Cena as one of the best in ring performers in all of sports entertainment, and now like Dave Bautista he is being sculpted into a great actor. Just look at the scene of him playing the piano and without cutting away we can see from the small expressions on his face what he is thinking. And I hope that version of Home Sweet Home is on the soundtrack. Also Eagly is now the most badass bird in TV history, sorry Sam Eagle.

Vigilante's Eagle bit annoyed me too.. but as Achara mentioned him being established as a dumb guy.. Star-Lord was established as a man of emotions. They've already established he wouldn't even think twice when blasting his own Father's face off when learning he killed his mother. And he's shown us twice he's willing to sacrifice his life for love or for the Galaxy, by giving his space-suit to Gamora and grabbing the Power stone. Was it really out of character.. or "Sacrificing the character's Intelligence" ? Who's to say any of us wouldn't react the same no matter what else is at stake.. when learning someone killed your mother... cause one wouldn't be processing the consequences when filled with such rage and revenge.

Yeah it was supposed to happen. But star lord didnt know that. He went off track and ruined the plan and somehow it worked out in the end. But we lost black widow iron man etc… and 5 years as well. If star lord didnt do that, the avengers would have won right there

The reason why Star-Lord attacked Thanos was because of the fact that Thanos killed Gamora, the love of his life. Was it a bad timing for him to lose it? Sure, but I understand where he's coming from. They didn't made him stupid just because to move the plot along, they had a understandable reason for doing that. I honestly get very mad every time people talk about Star-Lord in Infinity War and just completely ignores his pain just to put the blame on him. Even Chris Pratt himself said that why are people mad at Star-Lord and not mad at Thanos for killing her.

Peacemaker has been amazing. By the way, looking for a new show to react to after Peacemaker, might check out the Yellowstone prequel, 1883, on Paramount +. At the moment, me personally I think this new western series is the best written show on television. Stars Academy Award Nominee Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, LaMonica Garrett, and new actress Isabel May. Also it has A-list movie star cameos by Tom Hanks and Billy Bob Thornton. To point out something for Jaby in regards to Star Lord, they didn't sacrifice his intelligence in Infinity War, it is literally very much in-character for Star Lord to react impulsively to the loss of a loved one, it's literally a trigger point. He does the same thing when his mother died, and he does it again when he finds out that Ego killed her. Peter Quill is known to react impulsively so finding out that Thanos killed Gamora is a trigger point for him to react. It's not a matter of intelligence and logic when people's emotions are involved or when they are triggered by previous trauma. Just like when Thor goes for the chest of Thanos instead of the head, logic and intelligence should dictate that Thor just kills Thanos, but Thor drags it out because he wants to make Thanos hurt and have revenge, but Thor is not stupid to not have done that because what Thor did is very much in character to have that desire for anger and revenge. Logic is important but emotions aren't always logical and as long as it's in-character then emotions that lack logic can still make sense. And let's be frank here, by that point Dr. Strange already saw through multiple permutations of the future to reach that there is only one path where they win, therefore, he already knew Star Lord would react and didn't say anything and let things play out the way it did so they can get to the eventual win. So if anything, it's less Star Lord's fault and more Dr. Strange's fault.
