To be fair; a lot of people did. That has nothing to do with Gunn of all the characters in The Suicide Squad and considering the events. Making a tv show around Peacemaker at the time didn’t make a whole lot of sense

For Peacemaker season 1 Gunn solo directed 5 of the 8 episodes, and co-directed two of the remaining three without taking credit due to the replacing Vigilante situation. There was only one episode he didn't direct or co-direct.

Anyone else annoyed with how long it takes for new seasons of shows nowadays? I get DC has had its shakeups, but 2 years, sometimes 3, for invincible, the boys, HOTD, TLOU, Peacemaker, etc…I’m gonna be an old man by the time some of these shows finish

Gunn has confirmed that he's directing part of season 2. He hasn't said how many episodes, but he's said there are three other directors, so my guess is he's doing the premiere and finale between scheduled location shoots on Superman.

I really enjoyed Peacemaker, not as much as The Suicide Squad but I liked it, and it did give us Vigilante, who was hands down the best character in that show, also the other funny thing about it for me is the intro, for the entire season all I kept thinking when I saw it was “I can’t decide if I love this or hate this” Part of me thought it was funny but another part of me thought it was stupid, it was such as strange feeling, and so I’m looking forward to season 2, I’m not frothing at the mouth for it like some others are but I wanna see it
