I’m a Muslim. But there is so much falsehood in what Zakir Naik said. Why could he say the previous revelations before Muhammad have changed? According to the Quran, didn’t the Quran come to confirm the Injeel and the Torah? And didn’t Allah say we should believe in all the previous revelations? And didn’t Allah say the people of the scripture should judge by their book? Are the people of the scripture not the Jews and the Christians ? Oh Zakir, free us this shame!

You are the one talking nonsense. What he says could't be any trueer. The torah and the injeel were changed, they were corrupted by man's hands. That is what gave birth to the old testament and the new testament wich are today corrupted books. Even though sole of god's words still remain in them. Things were added, ommited or modified. Hence came the quran wich corrected the corruption so that the message became authentic again, the same message all the previous prophet preached , the oneness of god. And because the quran is the last revelation, god made it so that it cannot be corrupted in any way. The quran is the only book in existence that is till now unchanged and preserved.

He had to distinguish Religion(a certain faith driven movement) from meaning of words like Islam and Muslim. Islam simply means submission and Muslim simply means the one who submits-it is just Arabic words. 3. Muslims could’ve been called either Muhammadis, Muhammadites or whatever. But the Arabic terms Islam and Muslims were maintained to institute the religion and the adherents respectively. It’s like, applying the same to Christians, Christians could’ve maintained terms like servants of God(Christians) and Submission(Christianity). 4. So if one is explaining, one should do well to separate the linguistic terms from the nominal terms of the religions and its adherents. 5. According to Arabic language, Jesus was a Muslim because he submitted to Allah. According to English language, Jesus was servant because he submitted to God. 6. According to religious beliefs, Jesus was a Jew of Judaism until He found Christianity. 7. Today’s Islamic faith began with Muhammad in the 6th century.

there is a difference between meaning of Islam and Christianity is Islam means submit your will to God but Christian means who follows Jesus. if followers of Abraham were called Abramity that doesn't make him as God same apply to Jesus. many prophets were followed by their disciples that doesn't make them God. Zakir naik said Jesus said "not my will but my father's will" that's what the meaning of Islam, submitting will to almighty god and Jesus did it. so Zakir naik said Jesus preached Islam. What of the other gospels like Barnabas. Thomas etc that was removed. There where more than four gospels in the New Testament before it was reduced to four and none of them includes the gospel or injeel of Jesus that he received from God. The phrase “to submit” simply means “Muslim” in Arabic terms. Also, the term “Muslim” with respect to religious belief, refers to adherents of the Islamic faith, whose messenger is Muhammad-the central doctrine of the “Islamic faith” is the Quran. So all the previous prophets, where the Quran identified them as “Muslims “ simply means “they submitted to Allah-servants of Allah” that is, “they lived a life that pleased Allah”. E.g. Even if an Atheist tries to please Allah, he can be referred to as a Muslim from Arabic perspective even tho the Atheist might NOT believe in the Quran and the messenger-and he can be referred to as a servant of Allah from English perspective. Imagine Muhammad was a native of an English Speaking Country-the words “Islam” and “Muslim” wouldn’t be known worldwide. 2. The belief that Jesus came for only the Israelites is fallacious. It is wrongly interpreted. First, he came from among the Israelites and started His ministry with them, and second, He authorized his disciples to continue in his Teachings to the Israelites and also to the Gentile nations(Non-Israelites). Surah 5:111, Surah 5: 52, Mark 16:15 3. This is what Jesus said -Mark 13:10 “And the good news (the Gospel) must first be preached to all nations”. 4. Muhammad came from among the Arabs-he first preached to them, and the message is then carried to the other parts of the world. This is what Allah says in the Quran: Surah 5:46 -47 46 “And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.” 47 “Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel.” Who are the people of the Gospel? Christians and Judeo-Christians. Are Muslims the people of the Gospel? Surah 2:62 “Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve”. Just as you told them to research well, you also have to research better. Don’t always take what has been said to you by our leaders-most at times, analyze them.

This is what Allah said about the Christians: Surah 5:46 -47 46 “And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.” 47 “Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel.” The people of the Gospel are Christians. Are today’s Muslims the people of the Gospel?

I always here you guys say we all believe in One God. Please this is not true, we Muslims believe in Tawheed (oness of God) and you guys believe triune god ( father, Jesus (pbuh) and the holy spirit) and some people even worship Marry, so we are not walking on the same path. Jesus (pbuh) was only sent to the Jews and only the Jews and if you read you will find Jesus discriminating against none jews which I don't even such a great prophet will do. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was sent to all mankind and jinkind. The phrase “to submit” simply means “Muslim” in Arabic terms. Also, the term “Muslim” with respect to religious belief, refers to adherents of the Islamic faith, whose messenger is Muhammad-the central doctrine of the “Islamic faith” is the Quran. So all the previous prophets, where the Quran identified them as “Muslims “ simply means “they submitted to Allah-servants of Allah” that is, “they lived a life that pleased Allah”. E.g. Even if an Atheist tries to please Allah, he can be referred to as a Muslim from Arabic perspective even tho the Atheist might NOT believe in the Quran and the messenger-and he can be referred to as a servant of Allah from English perspective. The word Muslim appears in the Quran and it’s a common word among the Arabs because the Quran was revealed in Arabic Language. Imagine Muhammad was a native of an English Speaking Country-the words “Islam” and “Muslim” wouldn’t be known worldwide. 2. The belief that Jesus came for only the Israelites/Jews is fallacious. It is wrongly interpreted. First, he came from among the Israelites and started His ministry with them, and second, He authorized his disciples to continue in his Teachings to the Israelites and also to the Gentile nations(Non-Israelites). Surah 5:111, Surah 5: 52, Mark 16:15 3. This is what Jesus said -Mark 13:10 “And the good news (the Gospel) must first be preached to all nations”. 4. Muhammad came from among the Arabs-he first preached to them, and the message is then carried to the other parts of the world. We Muslims limit God! Who are we to do that?? We give conditions to who a “true God” is. It’s rather sad!! 6. Understand, God demonstrated Himself to the Jews as One God and, also through various miraculous works just to draw people toward Him in obedience- messengers like Noah, Moses etc. 7.Again, God demonstrated Himself to the Christians as One God who carried out the work of salvation by Himself in the persons of the Son, the Spirit and the Father- and all these three are Him. 8. God demonstrated Himself to the Muslims as One God and gave them a message to follow to salvation through His messenger Muhammad! 9. The problem here is, we muslims are making God like a nomad-denying him of His omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscient. Understand that, God can do whatever He wants at anytime. We humans are limited. 10. Even The Quran came to confirm(bear witness) that the Bible is true -Surah 3:3. The Bible serves as a criterion to determine whether the Quran is true or not. Surah 10:94-95 11. The Quran supports Christianity and the Bible. It’s we Muslims and our Leaders who don’t support Christianity because we misinterpret the ayat in the Quran against the Bible. The Qur'an was correct about everyone submitting their will to God. People can deny it if they like but Jesus submitted his will to God just like everyone else. Jesus also said to worship the one who sent him. Jesus wouldn't have told us to worship the Father if we were supposed to worship him. We were supposed to love and believe in Jesus but worship only the Father because the Father is greater than Jesus the Father is greater than all. I keep hearing from everyone else that we are supposed to worship Jesus but I don't see anywhere in the Bible where Jesus himself says worship me because I am your God. If our salvation truly lies in worshipping Jesus than he would have explicitly said worship me he would never say the Father is greater than I the Father is greater than all if Jesus is the one we should worship. Jesus is very explicit when he mentions loving and worshipping the Father. This is my salvation I have to be 100 percent sure because the Qur'an is correct every single Prophet taught to Worship God and not worship strange gods because God is a Jealous God. My question is if Jesus is God where was he before he was sent to the Jews because John 1 says Jesus was made flesh so that means he was in Heaven the whole entire time when the Father said. 46:9 Remember the former things of old for I am God and there is none else I am God and there is none like me. If there is none like God then we can't be in his image because He clearly said there is none like Him.

He explained it as tho the religion of Islam(the religion whose adherents are called Muslims and whose messenger is Muhammad), has long been active since Abraham time. 2. He had to distinguish Religion(a certain faith driven movement) from meaning of words like Islam and Muslim. Islam simply means submission and Muslim simply means the one who submits-it is just Arabic words. 3. Muslims could’ve been called either Muhammadis, Muhammadites or whatever. But the Arabic terms: Islam and Muslim were maintained to institute the religion and the adherents respectively. It’s like, applying the same to Christians, Christians could’ve maintained terms like servants of God(Christians) and Submission(Christianity). 4. So if one is explaining, one should do well to separate the linguistic terms from the nominal terms of the religions and its adherents. 5. According to Arabic language, Jesus was a Muslim because he submitted to Allah. According to English language, Jesus was a servant because he submitted to God. 6. According to religious beliefs, Jesus was a Jew of Judaism until He found Christianity. 7. Today’s Islamic faith began with Muhammad in the 6th century.
