I do Uber Eats part time in Atlanta, mostly in Brookhaven area. I do my absolute very best to avoid this area because where you go you have to pay to park and you will be booted in no time around there! There are no accommodations for rideshare and delivery drivers.

@@sataniclivesmatter You gotta admit Atlanta dead though. I've been down there plenty of times and its always dead. Not a real city in my opinion.

@@METALFACEDOOMXXXX That hasn't been my experience. It really depends on when you go(event and convention season is usually from late spring through fall and people are out there especially when the weather is great). All I can say is that It is certainly less dead than most cities in the U.S, especially within the "city center" areas. Hardly no cities in the U.S. would be considered a "real city" by most standards if you consider Atlanta "dead". And that's fine(and you can blame FDR and how the FHA drove segregation and suburbanization. Only cities that already had VERY well developed city centers and public transport before Reagan survived that. And sadly, Atlanta being its "dead" self is the envy of a lot of cities that grew up in the car/interstate era), but by a lot of metrics it, including its financial districts far outperforms most other similiar cities with similiar layouts and growth patterns in terms of what makes places a "real city". It has oversized high and midrise districts(and with a decent amount of grit and character within both midtown and downtown), significantly higher use of rail services (especially within the financial districts), and even a lot more foot traffic(the % increase of people in the city center during working hours is much larger than most cities) and events in the city center than most cities it can be fairly compared to which are highly populated (let us say 3 mill plus) low density metros. And then it also has several large/sizeable universities in the area to provide the foot traffic along with the touristy stuff. For cities hosted in large metropolitan areas in the south, Atlanta and Miami are as close as you'll get to the more established cities(seriously, go look at this guy's Dallas and Houston videos and other people's. These are very large metros with oil money and a huge GDP and their city centers disappoint) and there are plenty of criticisms to go around, but I choose to cherish them for the good they have than slander them as not "real cities". You can say that you don't appreciate its offerings versus more established cities, but "dead" is a big stretch especially if the comparison are similiar American cities that grew up on cars and interstates. Most data on things that might quantify the "liveliness" of a city has Atlanta and its low density southern layout punching way above its weight.

Downtown Atlanta is too dead to make a video of yourself walking slow. NYC, Miami, Vegas and northern cities got tons of foot traffic but not Atlanta.
