Caron One Pound Yarn is my favorite! It goes so far, and is so affordable for large projects! It often goes on 50% off so I always buy a ton when it does and never run out!

@@makeasplash8149 it is a little rough before washing, but once it is washed it is really soft! It is a yarn I would use for sweaters or scarves/hats/gloves since it will be warmer than cotton.

My favourite thing to crochet is ponchos with variegated, tie-dyed, multicoloured yarns. I love how easy they are to make, very beautiful with the gradient yarns and sell for a decent price too. I just need a proper outlet to sell them as I don’t have an Etsy set up yet.

@@peachy_bits I will say that in Tucson where I live, there’s a LYS that does spinning and dyeing classes. You can even buy raw fiber in store which I’ve never seen before, the hand dyed yarns they sell are absolutely stunning. Yes please I live off yarn reviews for online stores so I know what I’ll like.

I know that Joanne's😃😃. They just opened around a year ago😃😃. The wall of yarn is amazing, but a worker told me that the skeins out of reach are just decorative.😆 Thank you for your videos, I enjoy watching while I crochet.🧶🧶🧶

Hey! Just got my hook and yarn in today and am super excited to start some things, but i have a slight problem. My left hand (that i'm holding the yarn with) starts hurting really bad. I was just wondering if this maybe happened to you when you first started, or if you have any possible solutions i could try! :) You are absolutely amazing btw!

Hey! My fingers hurt a lot when I first started because I was gripping the hook and yarn too tight! Loosening your grip may help. Some people wear compression gloves for hand and wrist pain. Besides that, I’d take breaks and stretch your hands! Thank you for asking! I hope this helps!

Hi just found your channel! That velvet yarn is so pretty and soft, but it’s difficult to work with. I’m making a cardigan with it right now. It’s slippery, so can mess with your tension. It can be hard to see your stitches as well.

Why do you choose acrylic vs cotton or wool/nylon

acrylic is less expensive, keeps body heat in, and can be stretchy. cotton lets your body breathe more, usually isn't stretchy, and is normally more expensive. wool is definitely warm and known to be good for winter projects!
