Honestly what I would do too save this Venus is give her one of her past outfits like either Zombie Shake, Coffin Bean, and or I Heart Fashion pieces would elevate the look heck cut of the sleeve of her Ghoul’s Night Out dress and it would look 100 times nicer and make it look so much better then just a plain denim bodysuit

I personally think its kinda funny how a lot of the people who usually complain about us getting the same silhouettes (mermaid skirts/high waisted shorts/miniskirts/slip dresses) complain about Venus now, when Annalies gave us a really unique silhouette here with all the extra details on the legs and shoulders and this giant decorative element. Like I can see why some people don't vibe with the bodysuit, but there is so much going on with her, a dress would take away from all the ornaments, embroidered flowers, face details, tights, etc. I am just happy that they are getting more experimental with designs and silhouettes. Operetta was kind of "too safe" - but this one is more on the level of Fang Club Ghoulia design/detailwise. Especially since people were roasting Ghoulia for being too extra when she leaked and later they suddenly hyped her as the best doll ever, I have a feeling that this Venus might have a similar late, but warm reception.

Ngl the prototype of Cupid looks SO AMAZING I would've preferred the prototype as well 😭 As an international fan? I'm sorry usually I always check just how much detail and fabric is on a doll before I end up saying yeah she's worth it and end up paying like quadruple the amount a doll should cost. Again I think this fits Venus but the price point is just incredibly unfair when you have to pay (in uk) £10 more like.... I'm sorry but no. Vampire heart Draculaura was worth it because I literally think every single fabric and accesory added to her is worth it PLUS lashes PLUS a beautiful box PLUS a stand UNDER the layers of the dress just a 10/10.

If you take off the victoria secret wings from Venus, her outfit is way too simple. The thights are cute but why not put the same amount of detail on the top? it looks like a plain denim bodysuit, very underwelmed

One company had a pre-order for the werecats repo for sellers NOT general public and the msrp was $50. They also had the hotel playset up for $99 and Nefra for $25 for sellers. Aug 1 for the Hotel, Nefra. Monster high keychains June 1 $6.99. The werecats sold out for pre-orders so I couldn't get further info.

Cuz G1 and G3 are separate entities so they will never mix body sculpts especially on collector dolls where they wanna make sure the doll looks nostalgic 🤔

I don't like the Skulltimate Secrets outfits as much as I had hoped, especially not as much as series 1 and 2. I need to think about getting them. The Clawdeen cake decorating playset is gorgeous. I love the sketch design for her. It's simple but elegant, and Clawdeen looks like her mature G1 design. I honestly don't like the G3 version of her, especially giving her rompers and a more childish look. But as a part of the new Sweet 1600 Birthday line, she looks great! It reminds me of the EAH Sugar Coated line, but it was done in a good way that isn't too G2. I am definitely looking forward to this line! As for the Ghouluxe Venus doll...well, it's an improvement from last year. Ghoulia was the best, Operetta was the worst, and Venus is...in between. I love everything else about her, the plant wreath, the greenhouse shoes, the leggings...but the denim body suit feels...off and incomplete. I might get her, but I'll be contemplating if she's worth getting...

I think Venus looks amazing and I think the bathing suit like clothing is perfect. If it was more elaborate, it might take away from the total design aesthetic. Contrary to popular opinion, I like the high pony on the pet creation doll mainly because of the way the colors fall. What do I know :)

I was SO excited after seeing the teaser for Venus that we were going to get a gorgeous, intricate, plant-y ball gown or something. And they gave her an awful outfit. Just awful. Her shoes, plants, hair, and of course face are beautiful. But that bodysuit… ick. I would have rather they used cheaper, more common fabrics in order to actually give her a nice outfit, or just raise the price point. I promise I would pay a pretty penny for her if she was in a nice outfit. I really hope someone gets her and restyles her. What we got is crazy disappointing.
